To add to the "new guys that don't understand how most things work" posts...
My questions are these...
I live in Oregon.. and not having any brick and mortar shops close to me I broke down and just went to the mall kiosk. After much research on google and ECF there are still a couple of things I can't seem to figure out.. (Just as a side note I bought into the hype and ordered a provari.. more about that in a minute)
The setup i have currently consists of 2 "ego-c" batteries. both 3.7 .
I also bought 3 "ce-9 clearomizers" and one "v core 2.0"
(the reason for the quotes is everything of theirs is branded with their own name and I question it's true integrity.
Back to the provari. I have read a lot about variable voltage, and decided that I might as well jump from a Geo to a Cadillac.
However I am still baffled by everything north of the connection point.
The "clearomizers" I have leak, and taste like burning diapers.
i have tried what i was told was a "cartomizer" that had a connection point to the battery and then a small plastic
tank with a mouth piece on the tank.. The problem i had with those is that it just pulled the liquid straight from the tank through the mouthpiece into my mouth.. lots of sputtering ensued.
with that said I, now that my provari is on its way in the mail ... i need help determining what to put on top of it..
I'm familiar with the terms floating around but still too new to know the exact specifics about some of them...
I would like to try out a few different options so any and all advice would be welcomed and appreciated...
Do all cartomizer setups have the same setup as my experience with them?
Do you need a certain type of atty to be able to "drip" on to?
How do you know when you're ready to transition into an RBA?
Is the provari sufficient to test the ohms of an RBA or do you need an actual meter?
and lastly.. is the wicking / coil wrap what determines the ohms of an RBA??
Sorry for all the questions or if there is a thread that goes over this more thoroughly... but i just need some help!
Thank you so much!!
