it could be one part psychological. you get all worked up about a flavor that everyone is screaming about only to find it flat and dull yourself. that has happened to me a few times. for starters, eGo's are great. clearos are wonderful. as are cartos and other attys. everything does have its draw backs. the best thing to do is find something that suits your needs and go with it. Rebuildables, in my opinion offer a much more intense flavor. until you get a dry hit and all you taste is metal haha.

To add to the "new guys that don't understand how most things work" posts...

My questions are these...

I live in Oregon.. and not having any brick and mortar shops close to me I broke down and just went to the mall kiosk. After much research on google and ECF there are still a couple of things I can't seem to figure out.. (Just as a side note I bought into the hype and ordered a provari.. more about that in a minute)

The setup i have currently consists of 2 "ego-c" batteries. both 3.7 .
I also bought 3 "ce-9 clearomizers" and one "v core 2.0"
(the reason for the quotes is everything of theirs is branded with their own name and I question it's true integrity.

Back to the provari. I have read a lot about variable voltage, and decided that I might as well jump from a Geo to a Cadillac.

However I am still baffled by everything north of the connection point.

The "clearomizers" I have leak, and taste like burning diapers.
i have tried what i was told was a "cartomizer" that had a connection point to the battery and then a small plastic tank with a mouth piece on the tank.. The problem i had with those is that it just pulled the liquid straight from the tank through the mouthpiece into my mouth.. lots of sputtering ensued.

with that said I, now that my provari is on its way in the mail ... i need help determining what to put on top of it..

I'm familiar with the terms floating around but still too new to know the exact specifics about some of them...

I would like to try out a few different options so any and all advice would be welcomed and appreciated...

Do all cartomizer setups have the same setup as my experience with them?

Do you need a certain type of atty to be able to "drip" on to?

How do you know when you're ready to transition into an RBA?
Is the provari sufficient to test the ohms of an RBA or do you need an actual meter?
and lastly.. is the wicking / coil wrap what determines the ohms of an RBA??

Sorry for all the questions or if there is a thread that goes over this more thoroughly... but i just need some help!

Thank you so much!!

I'm beginning to think that you're correct. Just hate that this has been such a learning curve. One thing I will mention is that I checked out a few of Baditude's memos, and the one on single-coil vs. dual-coil did strike a chord with me. I'm thinking one thing I should do is jump back to single-coil clearos and cartos to get a better estimate of the flavors. In the meantime, I will keep watching the forums with interest.

Hi Snickers i suggest you take your time and check out some videos on youtube on mods cartos clearomizers etc.I find Field of Vapor & Grimm Greens videos to be very informative.I started off with a 510 moved on to an ego and am now primarily using mods,i don't know everything there is to know about ecigs but believe it or not i have learned alot by watching some of those videos and am going on two years of vaping.
