Hang in there, NviWarren.
There is going to be some withdrawal, from the other chemicals besides nicotine that smoking put into your system, but you'll find the right track, just hang in.
One thing that helped me was finding a sweet, 0 nicotine liquid I liked that I could marathon vape in the times of serious stress. I could "pacify" the cravings, so to speak, without worry for possibly getting too much nicotine. That, and a couple of glasses of water and a cup of coffee, and I was set for the mean times.
I still crave, and I still marathon at home. I'm now down to only using 12mg nic when I'm really stressing at work. The rest of the time I'm at 6 or 0. Take the time you need, keep the nicotine you need, you'll be ok and over time you'll decide whether to go lower in nicotine or not, and you can feel good about whatever time it takes. You are not smoking. That is the HUGE thing about it all. No tar, no ash, no carcinogens.
