Classy is a wonderful moderator (and very kind and generous person) and its ridiculous that someone would start a petition like this

Whoever started such a thing obviously has their head up their .........

The "OP" of the petition is "Kevin".

It is believed (yet unconfirmed) that a "Kevin" was once an admin on Nu - Vapor.

If anybody has an account there, it may be worth poking around.

Classy is great and gets my support without hesitation. All the mods ive seen so far have been great but Classy is the sweetest.

I followed it, and near as I can tell, he started the petition because she deleted one post? In order to avoid a slanderous "tone" from developing, therefore protecting ECF from appearing culpable in any of the myriad of lawsuits that could occur as a result of RTS's problems? Well, at least now we know that whichever mod had been on duty at the time would have been the one named in the petition. Classy just drew the short straw.
I just don't see this ending the way the petition starter intended.

Okay - I just found out about this and I have to say something here . . .

As someone who has been in conversations with "Classwife" the person on the forum and also have been reprimanded by "Classwife" the Moderator . . . IMO - There is no one, and I mean no one, better to deal with . . .

More importantly, from "My" personal experience dealing with her as a Moderator - "Classwife" has always been very professional and absolutely fair when dealing with "Me", especially when it comes to personal preceptions of other people about some of "My" post . . .

AND - While I will still take exception to how somethings are handled here on ECF and - IMO - how some of the rules are selectively imposed by some - I for one would rather have and deal with "Classwife" . . .

"Classwife" is nothing but - straight forward, direct, honest, fair, and true to her word . . .

EDIT: Oh BTW - If You couldn't tell - I Support "Classwife" 99.999% . . .

There is a petition, requesting that Classwife be removed as an ECF Moderator. I think that it's an outrage, I have never seen this happen before and I hope that I never see it happen again.

I have known Classy, since she was a new member and she is one of the nicest people on the ECF. As for her moderating, it's top notch.

I agree Classy is a top notch gal and anytime I've had dealings with her she has been extremely nice and respectful even when she probably didn't have to be

Classy is awesome and keeps the place running like a well oiled machine!! All the mods here spend their spare time (for no money) so we can enjoy the site. If someone received a virtual slap in the hand and can't accept they were wrong, they should be the one to leave, not her!!

I have not been here long enough to know who classwife is (didn't even understand the thread title when I saw it yesterday).

However, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to moderate a forum and I've seen nothing here from any moderator (or really any member) that leads me to believe anything is taking place that isn't first rate.

That being said, if anyone would care to post a picture of classwife, I can make a more informed decision as to whether or not I like and support her.

However - What "Classwife" looks like to some could be very different from how others see her too . . .

I followed this link from Jerry's signature in another forum. I have nothing but respect for Classwife! If said person was so offended by her removing their post, why not just move on to another with less rules. They're out there! That said, if Classwife even browses this thread, I hope she knows I her!
