So its been a few days (I think like 2 and 1/2 or so) since I smoked my last analog. 1 carto and 1 fully charged battery last me all day. I am thinking I could get used to this, and get into it. There is still a lot out there with all the mods, tweaks ect.. I still want to know how I act the first time I run out of juice and cant get any fast enough. That's the real test. lol.

My throat is a little sore and iv been clearing out some butter from the back of my throat last few days, im guessing my throat is just getting used to vaping or lack of all the toxic chems lol. or my kids got me sick.

The Volt that I have now I like. There is a local shop near me Elixir Liquid. All iv tried so far is the grape that came with my volt. I think il stick to the sweeter juice. Just gota get me a few more cartos with different flavors to put in the XL-PCC for when im out and about.

I cant help but want to try the 0mg levels to see how it will work.

Of the e-cig community, what % if them would you say vape 0mg?

I know that in another 20 or so years they will find out that vaping has some crazy side effect. lol.

How I can get a little less TH with as much or a little more VP as the 12mg cartos that I have now?

Awesome news, SOL. :D

There is some throat dryness and soreness when you start vaping. This is because PG and VG are humectants and create a layer over the tissue that keeps moisture in, but also tends to keep new moisture out, creating the sensation of dry spots. Just drink lots of liquids to keep washing it away, eventually your body will get used to it just as it got used to smoking. Some of that discomfort is also part of the detoxing process from quitting analogs.

I have not tried 0 nic juices, but recently I went down to 18mg.

Now, about vapor and throat hit. You may want to try VG juices, that should take care of both. VG creates lots more vapor at the expense of throat hit.

Congratulations on your quit! :) Hiryu is right on your other questions. On the 0 mg I'm hit and miss with it now. I mix all of my own juice, which I highly suggest. It seems to taste better as well as you can play with the levels till you find whats right. I tend to range from 0-8 mg depending how I'm feeling in the morning. Then If I get a strong craving during the day I just drop a few drops of plain 36 in to my Carto and I'm good to go. No need to always vape higher nic (for me) just a few drops when I Need it.

Will vapor production still be there is the carto is empty? Im still waiting for that empty carto taste I read about. im starting to think that some of my cartos are empty maybe. I just figure if a caro is about the same as a pack of analogs and a pack of analogs last me about half aday then these cartos might be done with already,

A cartomizer is nowhere near a pack of analogs.

I hope smokeless image doesn't say that on their website?
I would think not, because I don't think ECF would allow them here if they did.

The throat effect was huge when I started vaping to the point of dryness that worried me .The zero nic worked for me for over 6 months as i was never a smoker except when going out for the night.I rationalized nic now for a while cause I do not see too much harm in it and wanted to share with others to convert( yes in a way a pusher with a good cause) them and got hung up on nic.Going to all vg for most that I know is a little more work but the pay off is the throat is not attacked as much.Would recommend if you do go to an all vg juice go with well respected vendor who specialized in all vg.

I found with the Smokeless Image prefilled cartos the th was way harsh. Like too harsh for me to want to get used to it. But I think that's just me and my personal reaction to pg. Not to mention I really didn't like the taste of their juice. LOVE the pv and empty cartos tho.

...... There is a local shop near me Elixir Liquid......

I'm in The Woodlands. Would really love to know if this is a brick and mortar store?? Have you been there? I can't seem to tell from the web site.

Thanks

From the looks of the address via google maps. it looks like homer runs it or of his/her house. which is fine with me. they distro it to various diff smoke shops in the area. I got mine from BC smoke shop here about 10mins from the house. I want a low mg that has a sweet flavor. I may give there jolly rancher 0mg a taste. if it works then great.

According to SmokelessImage.com FAQ section,

How Long Does A Single Cartridge Last?

One disposable cartridge lasts the equivalent of 15-20 (one pack) of regular tobacco cigarettes. That translates to about 300 puffs. Disparities depend on how many puffs are taken when smoking, and the length and strength of each inhale.

I'm sorry for slamming a company on ECF but that statement is a lie. NO cart will last that long. They do NOT hold that much juice. Wow, I hate those claims!

Some1: If youve been vaping at even a moderate volume for 2 days that carto is dry...which you dont want to do as it hurts the carto. You will learn to notice the dropoff or change in flavor and vapor...thats when its starting to get low or hit a dryer spot on the filler (depending on if it was laying down or such...still means its getting low). Thats when its time to top it off with liquid! The key to having cartos last a good amount of time is to keep them wet...never vape em to dry! You will be surprised how long these horiz cartos last if you do...esp if you stick with clear juices! And btw, they rarely have the true burnt taste all other cartos will.

also, try higher VG for a comparison and to find what works best for you (just be careful w cartos and thick VG not soaking as well and running dry). It will take you about a month to settle out from all the changes from no tar and chems, youre tastebuds to come back in stages, etc, etc. I personally found even after all that that VG at more than 30% bothered my throat and caused yuk, but at 20% is fine. Find what works for you! And make sure you stay stocked!!!!

Glad you made the switch! Keep at it...everyones perfect vape is out there, you just gotta find it!

PS:Try their ry4...its awesome...smooth, subtle tobacco and great caramel sweet at the same time!
