I think I have a problem.

The other day I went to our local vape shop since myself and my family have all decided to switch to vaping from smoking. While I was there I sampled some of their liquids, the last one being five pawns Gambit which I instantly fell in love with and bought on the spot along with 2 other liquids that I tried and seemed good. To be honest most of the other liquids didn't seem to have much flavor but I'm guessing that's because I've been a smoker since I was 13 and I'm now 27. I ended up deciding to buy the machines online instead of in the shop since what they had were fairly expensive and they didn't have a great selection. So here is the problem, I ordered the machines that night and have actually found myself smoking more because I keep craving the Gambit lol. The good news is that the estimated delivery date for our machines is tomorrow, the bad news is that the tracking info has not been updated since it left Orlando, FL at like 2am this morning -_-. Hope it gets here tomorrow as i am very much looking forward to quitting smoking.

Twitched, I am so excited for you! I'm coming up on my 4th anniversary. By coming to this board is the 2nd best decision you have ever made. I was one of those people that had a fortress around me about smoking. Some people switch to an e-cig and don't look back. I had a little more psychology attachment to my cigarettes. I smoked for 42 years. I thought nothing could help me. I thought I was trapped until I got lung cancer, like my mother. There may be good days and bad days, but hopefully, you'll be one of the ones that puts the smokes down when you get your kit. I was off of cigarettes after 2 1/2 days. It wasn't the money I saved, it was the amount of cigarettes I was saving my body from. I was so shocked! When I went back and looked at the amount, I freaked! And, I am thankful to Almighty God for holding my hand. I pray you are blessed in your endeavor! :)

I ordered from a seller on ebay, they had the best price I could find for what I was looking for, I got Kanger Evod Starter Kit X3 for $101.85 shipped to my door. Their ebay name was "flavorpuff" if you're interested since they appear to be local for you.

Best of luck man! It's totally worth it! If you don't mind me asking where did you order from? That would be local for me to order from lol

Yea Altsmoke is my local, really nice people but seemed to be a small shop though I have nothing to compare it to. I guess they are a chain now with like 6-7 B&Ms and the one by me was their first shop.

Altsmoke has a pretty big web presence. I have bought from them several times, and the service was great. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Their prices online aren't the lowest, but are fair, IMO.

If they had a B and M near me, I would go.

Congrats on your decision to start vaping...it's gonna change your life.

i just want to echo what others have said and wish you the best. it may take only one day of vaping some good juice you already have to quit analogs. it did for me after 40 plus years. i had a half cig after my first day of vaping and was disgusted with the flavor. made me wonder what was it i was attracted to or wanted from an analog. i was able to make my mind up and quit because i knew i had a viable alternative. made it so easy to quit. good luck and best wishes for you and your family.

You just got your baptism by fire. The waiting for vapemail blues so to speak. :)

An evod setup is a pretty decent place to get started. Good solid reliable devices.

SOme terminology.

The battery part many call a PV and in larger devices a Mod.
The part where the juice goes (Yours is an EVOD) people call your type a clearomizer the general term being topper.

SOme things to work towards long run.

For each person vaping
2 batterys
2 clearos
extra coil heads for the clearos
2 CHARGER ( you seriously do not want your only charger to break on a sunday or after hours when the local shop is closed)
at least a 2 week supply of juice (to allow time to order more and wait on vapemail)

I know that sounds like overkill right now. Look at it this way if something goes wrong and you do not have a backup what are you going to do when Jonsing bad?

You do not have to gather it all at once. Do it bit by bit over then next few weeks. Just set a goal to get yourself in a position to have backups. :)

Welcome to the world of mailman/woman stalkers. Don’t sweat the industrial chimney thing right now, I did it too. Smoked 43 years and just passed one year without a cigarette. I wish you all the best of luck with your journey and if you run into any snags or have questions, please ask, somebody here always has the answer.

Hey thanks for all the info, we each got our own EVOD set so we each have 2 batts, 2 clearos, 1 charger each and 5 extra coils each. I bought a total of 55ml of juice when I was at the local vape shop but from all the reading I have been doing I feel like we will need more pretty quickly. We were rolling our own smokes at a total of about $100 a month and that's about what we were hoping to spend on juice and coils a month but now I'm not too sure if we will be able to stay that low price wise.
