You gentlemen are so kind to respond to all my questions. I did check out the Kanger EVOD Pro v2 vs. the EVOD v2. I haven't decided which to get, although if I did get the EVOD v2 it has 2 batteries, and I need to send a set up to a BIL so he can get off the sticks. However, I do like qualities of the Pro as well. But I have a very stupid question to ask--am I to assume that that peg thing at the top of the EVOD Pro v2 is where you inhale from? No tip? Can one be purchased to pop on the top? Geesh...
I know I can get extra tanks for the Kanger EVOD v2, but are there extra tanks for the Kanger EVOD Pro v2? This is where I get confused as to what can be used to replace the tanks on the batteries. I assume I have to look at the ohms and the connection should be for an ego? If so, what ohms do I need for the EVOD Pro v2? I just remember there were charts on ohms and variables and things that no one should have to worry about--so I gave up. lol

Look here you could stick with the ego setup but think about it why did you give it up and go back. You need something that will take you over the edge and never take you back. You already proven that ego is not going to do it. Learn how to build an rda or a rta and be done unless your ready to give up nicotine all together.

I don't own an evod pro v2 but I looked up the drip tip on those and if you don't like that drip tip you can buy another style you like better. Any 510 drip tip will work.
Someone who owns one of them will have to answer you on whether or not you can buy spare tanks.. but from the looks of it you can't, I agree with your assessment on that. They sell replacement o rings and replacement glass - but not other tanks you can just screw on.
I don't own the pro v2 kit, I had the evod2 kit and I could use protank minis and other evod tanks with it. Hopefully someone can chime in on it.

There are two Evod kits available. A bare bones kit similar to the devices you have:
Kanger Top Evod Starter Kit
And the Evod Pro
Kanger tech EVODPRO All-in-one Starter Kit
The first one takes the eGo (and 510 threaded, I think) compatible tanks, while the second one has an integrated 4ml tank. The first one has an internal battery. The second one takes an replaceable, high drain 18650 battery (you need a dedicated charger for it). The tank on the first one takes the Evod 2 dual coil atomizers. The second one's integrated tank takes any of Kanger's OCC coils (there are many to choose from!). Of the two, the send is more powerful.
No, see above. The pro has an integrated tank. The Evod 2 has the integrated battery. You can use either the 0.5 or 1.2 ohm coils in the pro.
I think you'll like the pro 2 better, but read up on the features of each and compare. Take your time. You already have working equipment. All you need is good juice to keep you going until your vape mail arrives.
Coastal Cowboy ~ all I can say is whew! I think I understand. But--there's always a ....--why would I change between a .5 or 1.2 ohm coil? Those ohms get me every time. I think you are right about liking the Pro more than the older version.

Another ...., what if I want to change out the liquid to another flavor? I'm used to putting each liquid into a different clearomizer and switching them when I wanted to use a different flavor. How does this work? Would I have to purchase a whole new set up just to use another flavor?
And lastly--can I put a smoking tip on it? Dumb question, I know. But I cannot find anywhere a photo that shows this. I think we're almost there...lol Oh, and what affect do the air holes have--is it the amount of "smoke", flavor or just something else to play with?

I am so sorry leftyandsparky! I need to remember to look at the quick profiles before making assumptions. Thank you for your input and pics, and I need all the help I can get. I am definitely interested in what women are using to vape. I think I want to hold on to the "daintiness" of smoking, but I am finding that it's just not going to be possible! lol
Not that I'm a "dainty" person--more like a bull in a china shop--but every little bit helps. lol

I loved it! I still use it when I drive. The original battery no longer holds a charge, but I replaced it with another one.
The coils I used cost $5 for 5 and 1 coil would last a week.
Then I learned how to rebuild so I didn't have to replace them so much
But tell me, what did you do if you wanted to change the liquid flavor? I guess with this one you can change out the top and keep different liquids in a separate tank. I mean there's only 2 or 3 flavors I would ever use so it's not a lot of cartridges. However, and I have this question in to Coastal Cowboy, with the Pro since it's integrated, what do you do if you want to change the liquid?
Okay you lost me there. To rebuild wouldn't you need a new coil since that is what is burning out? Are you saying you rebuilt the coil? And how and where did you learn to do this? Cause I need to do this.
I had 2 evod2 tanks and my protank minis, so I had extra tanks.
