I heard that a Rough Stack would last all day. I have had to charge my battery twice already today. It's a brand new RS short body and a brand new battery, an 18350. The RS came with a clearomizer. I vape a lot, but not enough to have to charge the battery twice in 12 hours. The battery charged overnight last night and I only got about 3 hours out of it this morning.

Something wrong or am I on my way to nicotine poisoning?

I don't know about all day on a 18350, they may have been using a 18650 with the extended cap, much longer battery life with those. I had the maxi and was getting over a day but I'm not a heavy vapor.

It all depends on a number of factors but that does sound kind of short. How many ml are you putting through it between charges? What ohm is the carto your using. batteries will also loose charge time with age, is it a new battery and if so have you checked the voltage off the charger to make sure it's getting a full charge?

Brand new AW battery...just got it Wednesday. Haven't checked voltage and I have no idea what ohm the carto is. It just came with the RS. I only vape about 3ml per day.

Is it a dual coil carto? if that's the case that would go a long way in explaining it, they drain batteries fast and also drink more juice than a sc carto.

AW is a great batt so I doubt that's the issue unless the charger isn't charging it fully. At any rate I'd recommend getting a multimeter. They are great for checking things out ecig related and aren't that expensive. If you've got a Harbor Freight close they usually have some good deals or you can get them online.

Not a dual coil. I'll have my husband test the voltage. He's got a multimeter around here somewhere.

On the Harbor Freight note, my ex-husband used to drag me into that place every Saturday.

Sorry to bring up bad memories lol. Yeah have him check the ohms on the carto but if it's a clearo I doubt that's the issue. I've never seen a low ohm clearo. The lowest I've seen is around 2.3. Also the next time you give it a charge check the voltage off the charger, it should be at 4.2 or slightly below that off the charger.

What's the mAh on the battery? The bigger (Maxi) Roughstack is the one that takes the incredibly high mAh 18650 battery. I can drain a 900mAh battery in 4 or 5 hours. I vape 6ml a day and one 18650 battery rated at 3000mAh gets me through an entire day, easy. And I'm pretty sure the rated 3000mAh is really more like 2600. You may just need the longer tube for your top switch part and an 18650.

The battery is a 3.7v 700mAh. I got it from Super T Manufacturing.

I only got one because I thought one would last me all day, then I could recharge it at night and start all over again the next day. These batteries are expensive! My husband is already about to wring my neck from all the money I've spent on vaping in a month! Which is a lot more than what I've save so far by not smoking.

Yep, I'd kill it in 3 hours LOL Seriously, grab the longer tube and 2 of the 2400mAh 18650's, will get you through a day. :) Keep that little guy for running errands. Just my thoughts.

Time between charges is directly linked to mAh. More mAh, more hours between charges. How long mAh will last you is directly linked to how many ml you vape and what ohm your carto or atty is. All things to consider when trying to find what will last you all day. :)

I have and regularly use a roughstack. I'm using Ultrafire 18350 batteries rated at 1200 mah, and those are lasting me all day. I've had no issues at all with the roughstack or the 1200 mah Ultrafires, and am running a 2.0 ohm Boge carto on it. You might want to give the Ultrafires a try. I think that batteryjunction.com carries them.
Sometimes, the Ultrafire batts are even lasting me into the next day.

BAckups. The key to vaping is BACKUPS (emphasis, not yelling).

Always have at least 2 batteries if not 3. Rotate them through so they last longer.

For batteries, madvapes seems to have good prices. RTDVapor is pretty good as well. I think the difference between super T and RTD (when comparing AW to AW) is less than 20 cents.)

Those batts true rating is more like 900mAh...and how many ml are you vaping in a day? Judge batt life in ml's...makes it much easier to know what mAh (or how many batts) you truly need to get through a day.
