I tried everything, still cant fix.

Hi, i have a atomizer short error with my istick pico, melo3 mini. I did everything to the automizer and nothing so i tried my friends automizer and i found out the problem is in the mod. I tried correcting the pin i clened it with a q-tip and tried charging it fully restarting taking out batterys... Nothing. Pls help me i dont want my money wasted

to find out if the mod is messed up, try turning it on without an atomizer on it... if it gives you an error, its the mod...

Yes it does give error "no atomizer" if i take it off. How can i fix? Or i cant and ned to buy new one.

Maybe a silly question, I'm assuming you tried a different coil?

If so, then it's possible that there is a separate line, a discrete signal in addition to the A/D converter, that has failed and is sending a shorted condition signal to the micro. In that case, unless you have some equipment to troubleshoot, a new mod is probably in order.

Yes i changed the coil but i didnt work. I forgot to say when posting that it goes to 10 seconds but there is no smoke when i put the mod to 10w but when i change it to 75w it doesnt work for 1s

It can't do both at the same time.
The tank is full of liquid?
Did you properly prime the new head?
When set to 10w and when pressing the button & inhaling while holding the button you get no vapor?
Have you tried power levels in between 10w - 75w? like 20w?

I don't think I will be much more help troubleshooting your issue. You could take it to a brick and mortar vape shop (if there is one near you) and see if staff there can help you in person.

Is your mod new? If it is, it may need to be warrantied if you can't fix/figure out the problem. Most equipment comes with some sort of vape warranty, unless you bought it used or something... Where did you get it, how long have you had it, and was this a problem from the beginning, or just recently? More info might help, but if it's within the warranty period, you should be able to return and replace it if all else fails.

I personally haven't updated any of my devices. Hopefully someone else will be able to help. I think you download something from the Eleaf website and plug your device into the computer and flash it that way, just not sure because like I said, I haven't upgraded my devices. Google may help?

Means 510 isn't stuck. Has the mod been dropped? If so the wire may have come loose. I can't help you with that. May just need a new mod unfortunately. If you can also buy a backup.

My screen show the resistance of the coil while the button isnt pressed. It shows short when button is pressed. Either it gives no or extremly little vapor at 10w i have tried 20-30 but it only holds for 1second then shows error. I dont fill the tank fully but about 75%. I guess priming the coil means dripping oil on the white spot of the coil if that is the case then yes i did.

okay... no atomizer when there isnt one... mod is good, atomizer on it gives you a short warning.... the atomizer has a short in it. if you have a new coil, install it... if that still shows a short warning after replacing the coil, there is a serious issue with the atomizer...

ohhhhh and another thought.... maybe your coils are too low in ohms for the mod to handle... what ohms are the coils rated for and what is the lowest your mod can handle??

What is the resistance of the head/coil you're using?

Do you have another new/unused head to try?

Are you over tightening the delivery device/tank?
Just snug enough to prevent wobble, not cranking it down tight like tightening a bolt & nut.
