I know so many people come here and ask for suggestions as to what to get and now its my turn lol. I have simple needs. So far since I started vaping I have only used an Ego C Twist. Been using it for a little over 2 months now but still consider myself a noobie. I havent touched a cigarette since I started vaping either so I want to keep that up! I want to upgrade to something bigger but still have it be as easy and maintainence free to use as a twist is. I want a VV but I dont want to have to worry about having an assortment of batteries, extention tubes, kicks, thread adapters etc. I'm not advanced enough to use all that stuff anyway and really dont care to be. I just want a nice, simple, easy to use, no fuss no muss PV. I want to put a battery in it, screw on a tank and be set for a couple days of vaping before I have to charge the battery again. I dont vape ALL day so I get about 4 days on a fully charged 1000 mah twist battery. I'd like to get the same kind of battery life. No bottom button mods either, I'd like something with a nice clicky button up towards the top. I want something that is made for 510 (as I assume most are anyways) so I can use my F-16 tanks or an occasional clearo like my vivi nova or even the stardusts or Kangers. Something reliable and under $100.00 Under $80.00 even better. Ofcourse like most i'd like to have the cash to throw down on a Provari and call it day but it will be a while till have that kind of loot to spend on a PV. I suppose I'd probably want to go the Vamo route or perhaps a zmax or something??? I dont have a clue. What can you guys recommend for me? Thanks.

I think a Sigelei Zmax would suit you. You still have variable voltage with that - or may find you like variable wattage even more. VW is easier to use. With the sort of vaping you describe the Sigelei Zmax would provide a sturdy and accurate pv that takes an 18650 battery - so plenty of battery life for you.
You'll get the same with a Vamo and may find the Vamo menu easier to use. The Sigelei Zmax has an OLED menu so easy to read what each thing is though.

lol. Or get a Sigelei Zmax that's as good and cheaper - around $80.
Here's a review - A PBusardo Review - Sigelei Z-Max - YouTube

Thanks for the link to the review. Phil mentions the issues with the lower than normal center post and the fact that it doesnt have ego cone threading but said the issues were being fixed. Do you know id these improvments have been made?

If your happy with the Twist's why not just use them till you can afford a ProVari?

I'm impatient lol. Besides, I'd like to get used to using one these larger, less expensive mods and see how I like it before I drop close to $200.00 on a provari

Most pvs don't have ego threading - although there's a few that do. The centre post of the Zmax is actually slightly raised above the top cap to give better airflow.
My chrome Vamos have ego threading. I don't use ego threaded attachments but have threaded ego cones onto them. They can apparently take Vision clearomizers but the Kanger T3s are too wide -which seems to be the case with the T3s on just about every mod.
If you can handle another review, he reviewed the Vamo as well:

Don't think the Bolt or the SB is going to fill the bill in this case.
