I'm not sticking up for the suppliers , but just one thing I have noticed while lurking about the forum. Some people have learned that if they get on here and complain about their order in progress the supplier will give them discounts and freebies to satisfy them so they shut up. They dont just want their order fixed...otherwise they would contact the supplier first...they want more than they paid for. Can it be proven...no...but I see it all the time with any merchant, not only e-cigs.
Whenever I see a post complaining about an order and they admit they haven't contact the supplier first, that is my first thought. First step if you have a bad order... contact the supplier... they cant fix something they dont know about. Second step...if you get the same crap (by fault of the supplier, NOT the manufacturer), get your money back and THEN let everyone know they suck... if they dont pay special attention to something they already screwed up, then it will probably happen again. If it is the device thats the problem...do a review noting its garbage and do a little more research next time. Unfortunately we live in the entitlement era and its people like that that raise the cost for everyone else.

Just my opinion.
This is very common,I see good suppliers being taken advantage of too often. It does raise prices, not to mention its just wrong to take advantage of someones trust and kindness. You cant prove its being done, but you know it is.

8-o The suppliers? No . They Can do as they want and let their wolf pack followers stomp and derail any negative post and it appears they actually don't even have to be a customer to do that. The followers are Nothing more then trolls. Then they get free stuff for flaming someone with a problem. seen it done.
That's one reason I think supplier feed back is a bunch of bull and a waste of forum space. It would be nice if the trolls stayed out of threads they don`t have anything to do with. If they love that dealer so much make their own thread instead of derailing someone else's. Then the person gets ...... and ends up doing what they feel necessary and gets banned. Pathetic all the way across the board. Its a one sided way to rate customer service.

I`ll leave it at that. It only pisses me off more thinking about it. :-x

I haven't been at this long and I've only used 2 suppliers (both I was happy with) but I have noticed that any comment about a problem with some companies lead to immediate attacks. I want to know and I'm intelligent to know that 1 bad experience by 1 person does not make the company horrible. But I am reluctant to order from companies whos fans browbeat customers who complain about less than desirable service. I always wonder how many others are unhappy and afraid to post.

these are my thoughts too...i will continue to post here but i really feel as a frequent user of the forum who enjoys posting here that if i were to really give my unedited views(no bad language obviously) that some members would change their view of me and not prove quite so helpful in future...there i said it....

again im under attack for even saying this but its my honest thoughts...this is a very closeknit community and ive made many friends...but some i think wouldnt take too kindly to my comments and therefore like in the real world a difference of opinion can cause a rift in correspondance???

this is a bit off topic perhaps....sorry

very much enjoying my day though....hope you all are too : o)

LOL Been wondering what to put in my sig LOL
BUT THEN I might feel the need to post my opinions to a lot of newbies.

I didn't know it was done for sure..BUT sure felt like it was!
I believe, this thread has been a generic complaint. With more then one company is at it's heart. Again I don't know for sure..BUT it's a feeling.

I dont know,If I have an issue or comment I say it and hope it can be resolved.Im not good at talking in circles and playing games.I try to deal with a problem directly and I speak to the person who has the authority to fix it.As far as fanboy remarks,I figure maybe that person has finally found something that works for them and they are just really happy with it.Maybe its not great to me,but they like it and thats great.Opinions are as different as the people who have them.

You know I'm not even sure some of the suppliers support the tactics employed by their groupies. I suspect some do and possibly even reward them. But in reality, some people employee the same vicious attacks when anyone post a positive about certain companies or equipment. I'm all for hearing opposing views but I think many cross the line. It's one thing to point out you had a different experience and quite another to turn it into a personal attack. Maybe some people need to up their mg of nic lol

Exactly, in fact just-cass suggested a site and product that I've had nothing but problems with. But I'm keeping my mouth shut until I know for sure it is/was an avoidable situation.

I'm relatively new to this site, do the moderators actually give you a hard time if your posting facts that happen to be negative? Seems like they have a lot of rules for a forum, I figured they were just to keep things civil not necessarily stickily enforced? Is there another forum where people go to speak freely and this is used more for research?

i believe that a bad experience with any vendor should be posted. as long as the post states only facts, and isn't superfluous with belligerent comments.
ie, "vendorx has not replied to my emails or phone calls, and i am unable to either return or replace this inferior product",
as opposed to "stupid vendorx sucks, they sold me crap and now are leaving me hanging"

Just-Cass- I totally see ur point! The wonderful thing about living in a free country is the risk of peoples opinions! Having an open forum(s) such as this one, suppliers are more aware of the publicity they have-good and bad. IMO, this forum forces vendors to have a good product and great service. Survival of the fittest, if you will.

One knows if he/she does not provide excellence, in every aspect, one could be called out for the entire community to see. While I agree, some DO take advantage and jump on here complaining before the supplier ever knows one is unhappy, there ARE alot of valid rants here.....

Personally, I think this forum makes for better customer service! :) Everyone is human, and i can only imagine everyone here can distinguish a premature/uncalled for rant from a valid issue with a vendor or vendors product...

That being said, feel free to post what you like ...afterall, isnt that what freedom of speech is for ;)

I always have a rule of thumb when venting or ranting....If Im only upset bc Im inconvenienced due to a mess up or faulty product and the vendor is helpful, I always wait it out and at that point its ONLY btwn us two...If they havent tried to rectify the situation at all or replace one faulty part w another and then another, I then take it to a higher art of resolving the issue. Replacing a faulty part w a faulty part once...understandable...possible bad batch from factory...twice, well, IMO it should have been checked twice by vendor by the time it was shipped bc vendor was aware of not one but TWO faulty parts of same kind, from factory...

HAPPY VAPING EVERYONE and KEEP THOSE VALUED OPINIONS COMING!!! :D
I hope I speak for most when I say every rant, rave and opinion matters!

I agree, I believe Ive seen it myself (cant prove it tho) and it sucks people are not honest sometimes......My biggest concern tho is when someone rants w/out the supplier ever being notified of the problem before they post here.....If the supplier has been notified and is not handling the situation to the standards it should be handled, then post away! ;)

Though it does take time, being new to vaping and not knowing quite where to turn, I searched and searched until I found the suppliers that had multiple positive posts about their products. With PVs it's quite easy. With ejuice it's much more subjective, so you have to shell out a bit more money to find someone you are satisfied with. However, I came across one supplier that had rave reviews...but only from 2 people. A bad review from another (and this was in the forum for reviews such as this). That sets up a red flag for me.

The information is there if you seek it. Massively positive reviews with the reasons spelled out has served me well.

i have learned to trust certain peoples opinions here and its sad that i dont trust everyones....i wish everyone here could be open and honest and sympathetic to people with rants that are legitimate...

I know what you mean . a certain company has replaced my stuff several times . each time it is replaced it is with the same lame crap . I just figured to move on and not give them any more money . If all suppliers are like this I will just go back to cigarettes , I know they work . light , inhale and enjoy . I would rather keep on with e-cigs but if the product is always gonna be crap then why waste my money ?
To bad you can't name names....being a newbie, to E.C. I'd like to know what company can be trusted. What's so hard about that?
Almost like this political world, isn't it?

well we could technically but i dont think it would be fair taking the weight of everything into consideration it would just cause chaos....a reason why the rules here are a GOOD thing...id love to hear a moderators opinion on some of the points mentioned???not that they are any more valued opinions that members but they know the rules a bit more i would like to think???
