OK all, I'm jumping in and writing a news story that I hope will be picked up by the press & also go viral. We need press releases NOT written by e-cig makers/suppliers to be credible. I need to interview you and I'll need to use your real name. I'd like to be able to quiote 5-6 people. No sellers or distributors please - even if you are also a PVer.

This article will be written to show the e-cigs in a positve light with anectodal stories on how it can be a good thing compared to smoking. It is not going to claim it stops smoking, but will attempt to show non-smokers that it IS a better alternative. I will post the article here for feedback before posting to PR sites. Please PM me if you have a good story. I want to know if you quit smoking altogether, positive feedback you've received when out in public with your PV, how it makes you feel both physically and mentally, how it has changed your life, etc.

Please PM me your story and name if you are willing to participate. Remember, you have to be willing to use your full name or I won't be able to quote you in the story.

This is your chance to be heard, folks! Imagine the news reporter sitting in front of you and asking you how you feel. It can be how ecigs changed your life and or health, what impact it'll have if they are banned or regulated, how the FDA actions are affecting you, how local legislation is affecting you (I'd love a quote from Spikey about Suffolk County's decision), how you feel about ASH claims that ecigs are advertising to children, why the FDA got it wrong, correcting misinformation in the press, telling how people who actually see vaping in action se it's a GOOD thing, etc.

Just write your heart out about any ecig topic that you want the public to understand so they can see that ecigs are a GOOD thing and not believe the lies the media has forwarded to them thus far. I know there are a lot of passionate opinions and people on this forum who keep saying that the public needs to be educated - this is your chance to speak up and tell the world what you're dying to say!!

I won't be vaping until around the end of next week. I desperately need to get off cigarettes, and this is pretty much my last hope, after trying just about everything else with no effect. I've done a lot of research on the subject before finally deciding on this, and I am absolutely sure that this is the one way I can be tobacco free after 25 years. If you want an interview with someone going into the transition phase, just let me know, I'd be willing.

Been vaping about a month and a half, quit smoking analogs the very day I got my first 510. As a person diagnosed with COPD (last year) I'd love to help you out. My daughter is an RN and I'm sure she would like to add her 2 cents also. She's so proud of me, I think she actually thought I'd die from smoke related illness. I did too! Believe it or not, I think about death a lot less since I stopped waking up choking in the middle of the night! Every day I think about how fortunate I am to have found this forum.

Saw a guy in my command with one(in the military:navy 10 years!)

Yes, im getting older and i cant run as fast work out as long when i was young and smoking

What was your reaction when you first tried e-cigs?
i Sat indoors in my Barracks room and Smoked(vaped) my e-cig for hours.... honestly forgot for a week where i left my traditional (analog) cigarettes.

Do you still use tobacco products?
NO, took a hit from a friends cigarette and felt sick. Oh' put a snus in once before a workout. made me feel sick.

What level of nicotine do you use?
mostly diluted 24mg, diluted at many different levels. so 24 max.

If zero nicotine, why do you continue to use e-cigs?

Yes, i dilute the 24mg and see how much i use my e-cig
How has your life changed since you started using e-cigs?

How are e-cigs different than tobacco cigarettes for you?
i can work out for 2 hours and not huff and puff(like when i was 20 years old), i can run for miles and not wanna pass out.

No negative yet. most everyone wants to know where i got it and how much they cost.

never complains. never complains when i take my hand off hers to refill my e-cig cart.
she loves the not getting up every 20 minutes to go smoke.

Propoganda, they didnt state test standards and acceptable levels, or that the approved tobacco cigarette is much deadlier.

well, it should be a business' choice.

i already go outside sometimes to get the break and to socialize. so eh..

i would hope not. but i dont feel confident enough at the moment.... so in the near future.... probably.... sad to say

if they smoke... to list the chemicals in their cigarette. if they dont, i say so is mcdonalds, and i dont eat there, DO YOU?

i tell them so is , caffeine, cooking with charcol, eating fast food, sitting in traffic with windows down, fried foods. so who are they to nit-pic on me?

Do you have a good analogy for non-smokers to understand e-cigs vs. tobacco cigarettes?
remember the taste of food before you smoked? well it's better now.

yes, i can breathe better, i dont have a stuffy nose all the time.

just went last week. she was amazed then she asked me for info for her son in the ARMY. i gave her all the resources i could.

it's scare tatics. because i can get flavored smokeless tobacco, cigarettes, beer and liquor, cloves, oh and america has a obeseity problem.... lets start there.

yes. about 6-10 people are now smoke free with my help. and one has gtten his bothers in on vaping.
