Well,

Life stinks right now. I have been employeed since I have been 16; oh about 30 years or so. Well, I have been unemployed for 10+ months now. I do not qualify for unemployment or any other type of benefits. Some programs we looked into we didn't qualify because we have a beat up old RV I got when my dad died 18 months ago. It is horrible out there. The short of it all I am feeling pretty worthless and self worth is darn near zero.

In my depression I went back to an old habit - cigs. They provided just a few minutes of peace, I guess for the lack of a better word. I first smoked when I was 16, back then a 2 pack a day marlboro gold smoker. Past 20 years smoking would come and go. Left it last time but in the early 2000's. But now it was back and I was not happy. I hate the ashtray stench and taste.

Stumbled upon e-cigs by a complete chance. I liked it so explored. I found ECF. The newbie thread helped me progress a little. I don't even remember how I ended up PIF but thankfully I did.

I hit a few walls in e-cig life and would have quit the whole thing if it wasn't for this group. The generosity in advice is amazing. Any question asked is answered - it has helped me not get as frustrated. And the generosity in juice staggers me. PIFing is great but many of you, you know who you are, have sent me flavors to try. It is amazing and touching.

The PIF group is a nice oasis in a rough patch in my life.

My story is probably a familiar one with many of you here. I had an extroardinarily hard time when I first started vaping. I was doing all the leg work for 3 people including my 73 year old mom. Paid way too much for our first 2 kits (x 3 for 3people) sent them back and got 3 more kits that were crap. Then I found ECF! Thank goodness that I did because we were all ready to throw in the towel. I got so overwhelmed with everything that I was just going to give up for myself and husband but would continue trying to get the right set up for my mom whos health is failing.

Well, some very kind hearted members here sent me some supplies that were really beyond belief for strangers to do I have always been this way myself but it is the minority that is like this usually. I asked those members how I could repay them and they said just promise that when you are able and you find others in need PIF. I took that promise very seriously! I have made a constant effort to scour the forum to find members in need and I have tried to help in any way that I am able. I must admit that I think that I may have been taken advantage of a time or 2 but I am still trying to repay the kindness of others by paying it forward.

I first saw the group while I was browsing for social groups. there seemed to be a group for everything!! When I saw this one I thought it was fan's of the movie (which I loved) so i clicked into it to join without knowing anything. Once I was accepted, I saw what it was really about and have stayed here ever since. I love sending things out to people who need to get certain items, or to people who are new to vaping. I love what vaping has done for me, since I picked up my PV I've not picked up a pack of ciggies and that has made all the difference for me. I want others to have that too!

I've always believed in PIF, in college, I had someone help me out of a bad situation, and she told me to PIF, I've done that several times in life, trying to pay back the woman who litterally saved my life. If being a part of this group continues to pay my debt to her, then I am a lifetime member.
