God or evolution (whatever you want) meant for us to only put fresh, clean air into our lungs. vaping is 99.9% safer than smoking, but it isn't fresh, clean air.

I've been completely cig free for a while now, but I vape a lot. I'm satisfied and have no cravings for stinkies. I currently vape at 6NIC in a dripper. Love it, great flavor and clouds for days.

But I want to vape less often. More fresh, clean air, less vapor.

Please give me some recommendations. I DIY my own juice, so I am in control of the nic levels. I make my juices at max VG. To what level should I increase nic to make up for less frequent dosage? What flavors do it for you?

Tell me your experience.

Your thoughts?

regardless of what you change in your ingredients vaping is vaping period..if you want less vape and more clean fresh air than just cut down on your vaping to the point you can do without it. you have to decide what you want from yourself..clean fresh air or vaping? also decide how clean and fresh the air around you really is lol and how much more if any is vaping hurting it..

I live in the country - a 1/2 day's journey from the nearest factory. I have plenty of fresh, clean air available. I live a life almost as ascetic as a monk. Except for the occasional drinkipoo.

I garden the bulk of my food supply, and I drink lots of plain water. The orchard provides fruit and about 10 gallons of wine a year. (Which I enjoy without hesitation. ;) )

I keep cultures of kefir and kombucha going for good health. So, I am doing what I can to live healthy. Not all the way there yet, but working on it.

I can go 4 hours without a vape currently, but then I vape my ... off for half-an-hour after that. Many drippers full.

Thanks! You guys are awesome!

If this were true, then God wouldn't have lead someone to invent the ecig and the delicious Toro Blu juice I've been enjoying.

1: I think I could answer but "for a while now" causes a blur.
If it were only 3 months then it's more complicated, but if it's more like 1 to 3 years the answer I think is to get to lower wattage vape.

2: 6NIC goes together with wattage.
My guess is you are vaping at about 20 watts, not 5, not 50
The number you need to look at is (watts x milligrams)
ok and theres another number to look at which is total milligrams per day, which is just the milligrams strength which is 6NIC x (how much millilitres)
My guess is you use about 5 to 10ml per day.

Leave your mod in another room. Work for your vape.

Cutting may make you vape more
Increasing may help you vape less, but you will be getting the same nic - nothing accomplished.
Less vaping is the best answer.

Now, one question.

Where is this Clean Air you speak of?

Yeah, I'm 54 yrs old, and I'm kinda doubtful as to whether my lungs have EVER encountered this so-called "fresh clean air." Maybe when I was standing up at Estes Park, CO, looking down at the valley. For about 5 minutes because I was freezing to death.

But your best bet for vaping less is using a higher nic level -- I had to start at 6mg to avoid nausea from chain-vaping, but after I dumped the smokes, I had to go to 8mg, and was still chain vaping; once I got up to 10mg, I was able to set it down sometimes. The longer you're off cigarettes, the less your need to vape will be, and a higher nic level can make that happen sooner. I never could vape 12mg for more than 10-15 mins without nausea, but at 10mg, I *could* chain vape if I really felt like it, but didn't usually feel the need. With my most recent atty, Achilles, I've gone to 9mg to soften the TH a little, and still don't chain vape to any great degree.

If you want to Vape Less, here is the Best Recommendation I can give you.

Don't Hold Your Mod when you are Not Taking a Hit.

Take some Hits, and then Put it Down.

I find putting the mod down is much easier to do when I increase the nic level, up to the point where I really feel it within a few puffs. I can chain vape 6mg nearly all day. If I switch to 18mg, 5 or 6 puffs and I really feel I've had enough and know it's time to put the mod down for an hour or two. I've been trying this for several weeks now, hoping to change my vape habit. I've tried this with 12mg in the past, and the change didn't stick. 18 feels radically different and I think that's what I need to break the old habit and form a different one.

I live in "country" area too; while not up in the mountains it's over three miles to the nearest traffic light. I get plenty of fresh air, outside playing with the boys, doing yardwork, lumberjacking, whatever.

Maybe you don't need to go four hours then puff like a chimney. Take something with you, have a puff here and there, maybe it will even it out. I'll lay an eGo by the porch while splitting wood, take a few puffs every half hour or so. You can find something that works for you.

Nobody can assure us that putting all the juice in our lungs is really OK. Nic could be not the worst thing at all.
Less vaping is the best answer.
I agree.

It's hard to find parking close to the store these days...

Up Old Fall River Road in Estes Park CO Sept 2000. It was a long way straight down 3' from my car.
The air was clean IIRC

Pretty up there, which is putting it very mildly indeed. But my flatland self wasn't expecting it to be 35-40 degrees up there when it was 80 degrees in Denver, and even about 75 around boulder. :D
