Last time I went to the doctor and I told her I switched from analogs to vaping she told me I should quit smoking. Sigh. Not sure what she has me listed as in the system. She said she is hesitant about ecigs, from a health perspective, since she has read both positive and negative things about them when it comes to health, so the jury is still out for her.

Feels great, doesn't it? I don't always see the same doctor at my clinic, but the last time I told the doc I quit cigarettes for e-cigs and he changed my status for non-smoker. Doctors are sometimes ahead of the "official" view on things.

I just have to share this part:

I was in because of some lower abdomen / upper thigh pain and my coworkers scared me into believing it was a hernia. I already have an umbilical hernia, so I thought there was a small chance they could be right, although it did feel different. While examining me, at one point, the doc bent my leg in a way and I went "OOW!" He said "oh, so that's what is hurting" in a joking tone. I was laughing so hard I bet everyone in the waiting room heard me. Turns out it was just my hamstring that needed a little stretching and he showed me how. I didn't really need it after he stretched my leg, though. Best doctor I've ever seen in my book. Next time I see him, I'll ask if he has some room to become my family doctor.

When I went to the doc for Chantix about a year ago they said my blood pressure was too high to prescribe it to me. I had been vaping and using analogs before I completely stopped the coffin nails that day. About 6 months after that I had to have a complete physical for work. When they checked my blood pressure the nurse said nothing to me about it which usually it was something like "that's a little high" or "you might want to keep a eye on it". I asked her what it was and she said 120/80. I'm sure vaping helped me get it down to normal. Just thought I'd share :)

You gotta love a great Doc!
I got a high five from my Doc the last time I went in.
I am in the first stages of COPD. I am hoping this will change now!

I also was in the 1st stage of COPD 5yrs ago. Been vaping for almost 5 yrs now. You can't change what has happened before vaping, but every time I go to the doc he says "still not smoking?" and I say yes why, your lungs are crystal clear is wonderful to hear :) He encourages my vaping as well :)
