Iatty and GGTS

Right I have now purchased 4 new 901/510 attys but when used in conjunction with the re-threader. they are all about a mm to short to allow the Iatty too connect and fire. And all were purchased from different vendors. I don't know where to go from here...I had one when I first got the Iatty, but that is not working either any longer, God knows why.

Unscrew the CT, screw the rethreater first, then the adapter , then put again the CT and then you attach the Iatty cliff

Thats what I am doing Imeo I cannot measure very accurately but they measure approx 1cm no more. I will take up Johns offer i`m sure he will have the right size.

PM'd you cliffy1 not sure what one you'd see first? think it sounds like same prob I had initially? if I'm up the wrong tree then sorry about that, I back my adapter off from the re-threader slightly and this was just sufficient for a contact and the iatty to fire! have a little fiddle cliffy1, sounds like we could have got our adapters from the same place lol

My 901/510 adapter is a bit short as well.
I put the rethreader on the GGTS, then put the 901/510 on the Iatty. Screwing the Iatty/adapter onto the rethreader, then pushing the firing pin up to meet the adapter.
The 901/510 adapter can not be screwed all the way onto the rethreader, but it's secure enough and works every time

you mean 1mm cliff. There is no problem about this 1mm, its ok. So if you attach the Iatty there I dont see the reason for not fiting

You can also try removing the o-ring from the bottom of the Atty connector to squeeze another mm out of it.

Iatty will leak like this geof. And we will not earn any length by doing this.

I believe he is talking about the o-ring between the center post and the hex nut on the bottom of the collection tank.

I got the adapter and the older ones from c9v and a cple of guys have come back and said they are having same problem, so its maybe a dodgy batch but binned now . No sweat UK is looking after me Thanks for all the help from my friends.

Quick leave your Provari and the TS alone for a while then leave the iAtty and the UFS alone then leave the results of the two alone and see if we can predict what the GG4S will be Maybe like a VVTS with a clear window iAtty attached.

Ohh and then send me one!!
