Iatty parts missing in Europe

Imeo, do you have an idea when the iatty plastic parts and steel mouthpieces will be available in continental europe?
The GGStealth and the caps popped up at Cam last week and since then i'm stalking the reseller shops for iatty parts

The GG community here is already swapping iatty plastic parts to get over the bottleneck.


I had the impression that you sent all the parts together with GGStealth and the Stealth caps or am I wrong? GG France already has the steel mouthpiece already but no iatty base plastic.

Why is it that all the different parts are just comming in seperatly spread?

I send all the parts together gredie. I didnt check if Cam put all of them on sale at the same time. If he didnt he had his reasons maybe, I cant tell you anything about it because I dont really know

This time it was really very curious. I also watched all your sellers several times a day. None of them had really a complete stock at one time. So I have to pay now 3x for shipping only to get a GGStealth-Cap, one Iatty-base-plastic (I need 2, as I told you), one Iatty-upper-plastic and one Iatty-mouthpiece. So I have to pay for shipping a fourth time to get the base-plastic-spare-part for me.
I really only use GGs and love them, but this time I am more than frustrated.

I would be frustrated also. You could try to email them and tell them to hold the order until the rest of the parts come in and combine the shipping.

I just got the message that the iatty parts will be in stock in three to four weeks?!
Maybe the carrier should use some kind of vehicle instead of walking from Greece to UK, even a bicycle would be faster.

I second bg, our funds for iatty parts is used for shipping costs and double exchange rates.

No, I know, whenever Imeo comes with new things we all are excited and can't wait to place the order. But maybe it would be a better idea to send the stuff to the sellers, and when each of them get it, then make a date an time, when the selling starts. Okay, within a day, because we have different times.
As I read some minutes ago, today COV has the parts online. Many days after the Stealth-Parts. Why?
We all love Imeo and his ideas, but in case of the Iatty....now he is making a new one. But what about the people, that buy the first one? I like my Iatty and I don't want to buy another one. But I want to use it as it was made for...for a very long time. And I am a little bit afraid now, that I will not get spare-parts for it, when the next release comes. So I tried to get the parts just in time.

Bg and Gredie, I said before that I send exactly the number of parts that my sellers asked for and in one shipping. I send plastic parts, metal mouthpieces, clear windows for UFS etc. Is there something else I can do for you?

Imeo, we all love you, otherwise we would not be here. Maybe you can bring your seller into one line. Because the frustration, whoever is responsible for that...is at least not good for you.
What about the other countries? Is ist good for you? Is it only an european problem?

Bg, as I said before, I send to my sellers everything they asked for. My job is making things and my sellers sells them. They know the demand and they order a specific number of parts. Maybe they sold all of those parts. If this is true then I will send them more parts (if they ask for them) with the new shipment of UFS. Thats all I can do for now.

ps....I promised that I will make parts and I did it. My job is done and my seller's job starts.

Well, i think you're knowing the demand better than your resellers. I am just puzzled about the resellers business strategies...

If I got you, from now on I have to push resellers in advance to get them having knowledge of my needs and demands.

How should a reseller know my demand as long as he don't ask? If parts are not even listed in a shop i can't order and he will never know that i would want to order. It's pretty unusual to ask a seller for parts that are not even listed in his shop. E.g. there is just one seller in Europe where the iatty steel mouthpiece is listed. GGStealth and caps are also not listed at all shops. Originally i just wanted to order iatty parts, but they are also hard to grab in Europe. So I monitored all shops for 1 week 24hrs a day and i know others (GG veterans) here doing the same without success.

I was not aware that i have to mail my demands to the seller in advance, my fault. Sorry about this.
Pretty new to GG i just didn't know that.

Anyway, I got informed that I will get my iatty parts from Georgio in a month. And I just placed my order for a ssGGSlim and a VV modul just to ensure they know my interest.

Everything is fine now and I still love GG

Sellers ask me for a specific number of parts depending on the demand (people send demands to my sellers all the time) and depending on their wallet gredie. Even if I have more parts than what my sellers ask for, sometimes its dificult for them to buy all of them. Sometimes they make a bad guess about what they will need. Other times I dont have the right number of parts even if my sellers wants more than what I have. As you see some other factors comes into play so you are never sure what will come up.

As for the demand, I really dont know anything about it. I only know the demand when I make new things. But its impossible for me to know about parts are needed. If I really knew then I would make more parts for sure. I dont have a reason to make less than the demand. A whole GGTS or a whole UFS is difficult to be made but parts are easy to be made.

I think I'm understanding the situation a bit better now although iatty plastik parts shouldn't be a financial matter for a reseller.

As already mentioned, from now on i'll place my demands in advance via mail to sellers and hope they will deliver then.

I may as well ask here, rather than start another thread. Can I really not order from COV (I am in Canada) for parts that my site doesn't carry?

Don't get me wrong, I love Daniel from Gentlemen's Reserve, but he just doesn't have the variety or supplies that Bruce does. If I have to ask him to order stuff it will take me months to receive them, though I order other stuff from COV a lot.

I understand big stuff, like a GGTS or UFS being restricted, but for stuff like iAtty wire, O-Rings and Mouth pieces and springs, can I not order it from Bruce?

I don't think o-rings, wire and wick should be restricted but who knows. Imeo will comment on this situation.

Thats awesome. I was able to order wire with Bruce's permission, but I really want a brass telescope and other misc parts too to "pimp" my stuff out.

I Think it would be awesome to just restrict The units like UFS iAtty and Mods themselves and allow us to purchase the accessories. Hopefully it will be OK. I will await Imeo's thoughts
