I've kinda been reflecting on where I am with my vaping journey and it occurred to me that everything I said I'd never do is now something I've done...

"I'd never get something bigger than a cigarette." Got an eGo

"I'd never get one of those big mods." Got a SiD

"I'd never get a mechanical mod or an rba." Got a K100 and an AGA

"I'd never spend more than $50 on an atty." Bought 2 KFLs.

"I'd never spend more that $50 on a mod." Bought a Paps, a Simplicity, an ELA, and an Atomo.

"I'd never buy another gennie." Bought a Mini Micro.

"I'd never vape a meat flavor." Vaped hot dog (horrible mistake, BTW)

0 for 7

It seems like at every step I've learned something new that's shot my preconceived notions to [4 letters]. I have a feeling I'm going wind up trying a few more things:

"I'd never buy a spheroid."
"I'd never use cotton/SS rope/ceramic wick"
"I'd never DIY my own juice."

I guess it just goes to show that I need to strike "never" from my vocabulary and go with "probably won't ever." :p

Anyone else find they're doing things they thought they wouldn't ever do when it comes to vape??

1. I won't vape in the house. (I vape in the house CONSTANTLY)
2. It'll be awhile before I buy a Provari (Bought one 4 weeks into vaping)
3. I won't use said Provari when out and about (I use it almost exclusively when I'm out)
4. I don't think I'll go above 3ml per day (After 8 weeks, I'm at about 5ml)

I learned how to DIY my own juice my first week of vaping. I was afraid I would forget to order some and there were no B&Ms that I knew of near me. I looked it up online my third day and overnighted ingredients the same week. Took all of 4 days to get my first batch of nic, but from there, no looking back. I can customize to my own taste and I control the strength.

lol donno bout a never but started vaping to cut costs and so far I've spent more in the last 3 months than I ever did smoking....but I know in the long run I'll actually save money
*fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong from this point on, I won't need to buy anything else (maybe a new atty here and there) I will break even in a year and then be ahead of the game*

My only I'd never is to do rebuildables....after reading up on it, lmfao I may just try it sometime, but that'll be awhile as I'm trying not to and well don't have any more money to spend.
But that never do is more a because I didn't think I could....however reading many posts and having some pretty good friends here on ECF that dumb things down for me I may just be able to :)

agrees that when it comes to vaping the whole I'd never soon becomes a, hey I could probably do that.....lets give it a whirl.

I always told my boys I would never vape (they spent a year trying to convince me to make the switch)
and I always said I would never make this a hobby...

20 days into this and I am already on restrictions from shopping online for juices and tanks from my better half...it is now becoming a serious hobby.

And the #1 thing I thought I would never do???
Take up vaping as a hobby. And when did it become a hobby?
All I was looking for was a cheaper source for e-juice! So, I thought I would check out the reviews on ECF. So many choices.. and what about all this other stuff they're talking about? What's a mod? Maybe it's time to upgrade.. Hmmm
There are some people think that smokers tend to have addictive personalities, and well..... I think you can see where this is going.
All that shiny stuff... Join the group, and jump right in. And... to save time, have your bankcard handy.
Of course, if this behavior seems a little crazy to you.. it is!... I guess you're not, and good for you.
If all of this sounds familiar to you... Relax... It's a Hobby!...Have fun with it... The folks around here are friendly and helpful... Even your experience might be helpful to others.
And above all, there are far less productive ways to spend your time... and money.

Ah, where do I start?

"Vaping"? That sounds lame. I'd never call myself a "vaper"!
Said my ego and clearos were just fine, who needs "variable voltage"? These keep me off the cigs just fine!
I can't believe how much I love this MVP! I'll never need another mod!
Wow, I hardly use my MVP now that I got a SID, it's so great I can't picture needing ANOTHER mod, now that I have this and the MVP for backup!
I love these Protanks and EVODS, why would anyone go through all that cartotank hassle?
I can't believe how much better I like the cartotanks, I'll never need to get into that whole rebuildable thing, these are just great for me!
Now that I've gotten so used to VW, I don't know why anyone ever bothers with a mech!
This polished Sigelei 13a sure does look pretty with that RSST, with these to tinker around with and my SID and cartos, why would I need anything else?

My REO should be here in a couple days.
