My style preferences changes from day to day. I want to get another CHUCK, but I'm having a hard time coming up with the perfect graphic to put on my CHUCK.

So I started thinking......

...would it be possible to make a transparent "pocket" of some kind on the CHUCK. It would be kind of like the clear pocket that you stick on packages that hold a UPS/FED EX shipping label. Another example would be the clear plastic sleves on CD/DVD cases.

If this could be done then our CHUCKS could be skinnable and we could make and print our own skins to suit out moods.

Just a thought.

Do the end caps have a larger diameter than the tube (even slightly)? B/C if they do, you could get some clear platic tubing (like sometimes used for shipping or storage of rolled papers) and cut it to length. Take off one end cap, slide sleeve with image over tube, replace endcap.

Just thinking out loud so feel free to ignore this post.

The only viable process that would offer any sort of durability would be clear shrink-tubing. Similar to that used on RC-battery packs. You could wrap the image around it, then shrink the tubing over it.

While the overall process did technically work, it was not something I would put my name on, hence the short and sweet "NO".

Could it be done, YES. Will I do it, NO.

Randon PSA:
Do not leave a few hundred rounds of 230 grain JHP .45's on your desk where your customers can see them. They walk in all happy then suddenly give me the "everything OK bud" look. Entertaining though. One of my long-time customers who knows the cliff notes of my current situation walked in and saw them... he pointed at them and said, hell yeah, that's a much more cost effective approach.

I understand. I love the beautiful finish and graphics on my CHUCK, but I was just wondering if it would be possible.

I assumed it wouldn't look nearly as nice.

Thank you for answering my question.
