Thanks to trinity4db for a question that is absolutely of the first interest to me today. So here is a post I have made in another forum about smokeless alternatives:
Huge thanks to a friend who sent me Oomph and Goteborg Rape snus and Stonewall Java dissolvables to try!
Began with the Oomph (citrus and menthol) which tasted nicer than it smelled - this would certainly sort out any passing craving that might overcome me in the future. I felt a lot of tingling in my gum so I stopped after a few minutes. Next tried the Java dissolvable - well it reminded me a lot of some chocolate flavoured breakfast cereals and next moment it nearly drowned me from all the saliva generated in a second or two! I had to wield the Kleenex despite the Spit-Free boast on the packet! I dunno how you cope without stomach troubles, TB!
Best taste was the Goteborg Rape, pleasantly salty but aromatic too. If it ever came to a Big Ban and I was back on nicotine, this would be the one I'd lay up stores of. The reverse of the argument is that this is the one I cannot afford to get habituated to!

However I have been nic free since 1 August, and happy vaping VG and Blackberry, so I am feeling a bit buzzed and will need to go out walking to work it off!

Back to the nic free - but it is good to know that there is a safety net, and a pleasant alternative to those damned never ever to be bought again analogues!

Hope this is useful to other enquirers, and again many thanks to my snuser friend!

I can't really believe in absolutes....

But with over 40 yrs of intimate personal experience to draw from...

although unbelievably astounding in the ridiculous absurdity of it all...

despite even the tormenting shame and remorse of such behavior...

and with incredible utter defiance of all intelligent logic or sensibility...

the sad and pitiful truth of it is... I think I most probably would return.

I voted yes.

After 23 years i'm still a nic addict and i know that gum for me is a temp use, patches are useless, the temptation of cigs would be just too great. I quit them with no intention to quit. They taste horrible, they smell etc etc and i'd still smoke 'em...........and die.

If i could get blackmarket vapes......i wouldnt ;-)

I decided to stock up on atomizers. If they last me a month each, I'm set for about 10 years, ha. I'm also set on 3.7v battery modifications and passthroughs (5v PS passthroughs, 3 of them!) and 10 or so cheap passthroughs. I'll use the stock rechargable batteries I have until they die and then keep them for modifications or to trade for parts.

I'll vape zero nic liquid if I have to when I run out (or if what I have goes bad). When I need nicotine, I'll go to what ever is legal such as snus or flavored nicotine tablets. I like blowing vapor. It is what I missed terribly when I tried (and failed) to quit smoking the first time so as long as I can continue doing that (nic or not) I'm good. Today, I'm just over 6 months cigarette free.

I also voted no..I refuse to go back to analogs! E-cigs has been the best thing that has helped me to quit, I guit analogs on the first day vaping..And I will do whatever it takes to continue vaping my heart out..Even if I have to move to another country where vaping is legal..with all the money I wont be spending on analogs I might be able to afford it..;)

I vote no, because I believe that even in the face of a "ban" that I will still be able to get the needed supplies from China. I just refuse to believe that customs could completely stop the flow of ecig harware and juice into the country(especially in small quantities). And I know that if I pay, China will ship.

So let me get this straight. If there is some kind of ban, the only thing that could be banned is nicotine laced PG correct? So, one could still buy 0 nicotine e-juice as well as all the hardware. Which means, they would have to ban nicotine right? Oh wait, they can't ban nicotine, they can't ban PG or VG, they can't ban batteries, atomizers, or cartridges, so what the hell would the ban be about anyways. I'm no lawyer, but the whole prospect doesn't seem to hold water.

No, I would not go back to analogs.

Check it out..YouTube - Special Report - How the FDA will ban electronic cigarettes and how government is in total control

he explains it very nicely..
