still not done yet, I underestimated how much extra room I needed for the wiring so I have to make a spacer now, held together with scotch tape atm but working perfect





it glows red when it's charging, I added a usb port to the base so I can build a few docks for it, just set it on the base to charge, like a cell phone











the 2 buttons still need to be shaved down to almost flush, they are very short throw and give a nice firm click when pressed for up and down






I also made a new top button but haven't installed that yet









with the new insert it needs it winds up being ~1/4" taller than a VV grand, still shorter than all my other mods






it don't look so great all taped up but it works awesome




I measured the voltage and the DNA20 displays the actual voltage at the atty while it's firing, showing 5.1V on the screen under load I measured 5.07V actual at the atty with my meter, it seems to be pretty accurate. it works great overall and I'm very happy with it. not sure what I want to make the final spacer out of. could be stainless or brass or could be something else too. I have a few ideas I'm playing with...

thanks, I made another spacer so it all fits, still needs final sanding and finish work to get everything perfectly flush and even again, had to redo the whole finish to add this spacer. I do have a few minor things I may add to it

the buttons are impossible to press accidentally even in my pocket and this button design helps in making it waterproof. I haven't sealed it all up yet so I can still take it all apart easily at this point, can't wash it in the sink until I seal it all up
