Knowing what you know now, and if you could do it all over again from the beginning, what gear (power source and vapor delivery device) would you be interested in getting? What would you avoid wasting time, money and effort on?
Here are the ones I would be interested in, in no particular order:
1. Reo Grand and RM2
2. Provari and IBTanked cartotank
3. Mech and Kayfun-type RTA (3.1, KFL+, Russians or good-quality clone equivalents)
These are the ones I would avoid:
1. Cigalikes. All of them.
2. Clearomizers. All of them.
If you could do it all over again from the beginning, what gear would you want? What gear would you avoid?
Thing is, I didn't know then what I know now, and I learned from every mistake that I made.
Hell, the industry didn't know then what it knows now!
That's a somewhat ambiguous question. Do I answer it based on what I know now? Or based on what's available now that wasn't available three years ago? Or based on what I didn't know back then that would lead me to think what I would get of what's available now?
I have no complaints. I landed here first before buying anything. That led me to a 900 mAh Joyetech eGo kit, followed very quickly by a 1,000 mAh eGo kit to have backups - including a second charger. With atty and cartridges even that got me quit and was all I needed for my first nine months. Perhaps I should rephrase that - I still didn't need anything since the batteries were still fine. Buy quality stuff and it lasts.
No regrets. Anything bought after that was a learning experience and none of it broke the bank. There were two pieces of gear I wish I had not bought because one never worked right and the other died in 90 days. But you can't know that is going to happen before you buy every piece of gear. If I could have skipped the E-Power experience and the Tesla APV I would gladly rewrite history on those two. And Bogegate almost drove me right back to smoking in my first carto experiment days.
