For me, minimum would be one dual battery regulated mod, a couple of rtas, couple of rdas, battery charger, micro-screwdriver kit, and ceramic tweezers. I would be okay with that, but having a backup mod would be better. Beyond that, everything else is 'extra'.
In contrast, what I have is: 3 DNA200s, 3 mech squonkers, 1 dual batt regulated squonker, 1 dual batt vv device, 3 dual batt pwms, and maybe a couple of dozen tube mechs and parallel boxes...along with a slew of rdas and rtas. I like variety but it's a luxury, not a requirement. I don't buy much new gear anymore, though, for the time being I'm satisfied with what I have.

One day young man, you'll learn to appreciate boredom for what it truly is!

I'm NEVER going to, I lurch from crisis to epiphany to euphoria to deep deep calmness (rare) and I figure if I were meant to have "the least" why would I have what I have?

In truth, I never understood the appeal of "boredom" my little brother states he hates it so much he has found ways to combat it at all times, like he makes up little games in his head and whatnot in waiting rooms. I must say, I am not sure a) I believe him b) I could be related to someone that epic and c) he hasn't been truly "tested" on boredom and I am talking like solitary confinement for 3 months and/or the quiet room for a week, even.

So yes, FIGHT for the POWER to not be bored!!

2 picos
2 doggystyle RTAs
4 batteries
1 charger
Wire, cotton & toolkit

But I'd miss my other gear ;)

I like the way you think Ange

I would also include some DIY juice fixings like PG, nic base and a few flavorings, a simple backup battery charger, a backup Pico board and a few backup DoggyStyle parts :)

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
I've been on a minimalistic track for quite a while, but when it comes to vaping equipment I'm not. And after watching one of my usual videos I usually end up saying "I have too much vaping equipment".
If I had to do it all over again, it would be the rule of three:
2 single coil RTAs
1 dual coil RTA
2 single battery mods
1 dual battery mod
1 BF mod with 2 single coil attys
1 AIO rig (a Billet box with a couple of tanks and rebuildables).

What would be your bare minimum?
i am a minimalist,,, own less than 20 items of clothing that cover me for 4 seasons,, fits into a back pack. Hurricane Ike took 95% of my stuff,, making it a little easier to convert lol. my husband is not a minimalist ,, I have still managed to play most of the minimalist games on youtube,, 465 items out a month etc..(junk drawers help out) if i had my way,, we wouldn't have hardly anything in the house.,, I told him everything is his,, and that we should sell it lol.

as for mods,,
my vape stash keeps shrinking,, I pif stuff away,, so right now I have:
*2 mechs
*1 pico
*2 pico squeeze
*2 avocado tanks
*1 corola tanks
1 freakshow tank
*2 griffin tanks.
* tiny repair kit
*2 narda atty's
*= I hope to have them for years as i am very happy with them.

all of the items above including extra glass, a ton of orings and screws fits into a little zippered 'book' and into my backpack with clothes and a tablet, another backpack holds part of the 20 clothes (out of season), meds & cosmetics, usb files/crypto etc. and important paperwork, (house title/deed, 2 birth certs, 2 car titles, adoption 2 page p/w, marriage cert, 2ss cards)

500ml of juice made up and ready for any bug out situations.

I drive a bmw,, and I want a SUV again,,, place to sleep if we have to bug out again. (had a Pathfinder years ago i loved,,, old men always hit me.......go figure lol)

hurricane Ike, taught me I really dont need much,, we had a 4 bedroom full of antiques etc,,,,,,,in the end all that mattered was family, friends and pets. post hurricane people down here tend to come up with new rules of owning stuff,, a few friends told their kids their stuff has to fit on a 2x3 rug,, and be ready to go if they bug out,, nothing else has value.,, its interesting :)

If I wasn't an over privileged American (nearly all American's are) who is spoiled by convenience I'd say one Super T mod and one Prometey v1. Since I am said American, I'll say all my vape stuff minus three mods, three atties and 3 AIO's. I like having one in the car and one downstairs.

There are different kinds of minimalist. There's what I actually might use in a day or week. There's what I need to make sure I have backups to cover any brief periods until I can replace anything lost, stolen, or broken. Then there's what I may need in case of vapocalypse.

Right now, sitting beside me, I have 4 setups: one for unflavored, one for Root Beer Float, one for Tiramisu, and one for Lucky Shot. I keep anywhere from 2 to 6 flavors going at once. My Tiramisu tastes better in a KFL. The other flavors are ok in Ego One Tanks.

I also need RDAs for taste testing flavors and for dripping when I'm in the mood.

But, I have different moods. Sometimes I want to use a bottom-feeder. Sometimes I want to use a carto-tank. Sometimes . . . . .

About 10 mods would cover everything (including backups) except for vapocalypse. Plus, about a dozen tanks and half a dozen drippers (half BF). It would be a bit restrictive, but would do.

However, like DaveP I've been stocking up for years and still have all my beginning stuff, lots and lots of it. Plus backup of some of the newer stuff. I can vape for 20 or 30 years, no problem.

OK, so I'm not a hoarder.
Here's my current collection:
2 Pico iSticks, 75W
3 18650 batteries

3 atoms, consisting in:
1 Nautilus Mini
1 Melo 3 Mini (as a spare, I fixed it for my preferred MTL but tbh meeeeeh.)
1 Hastur RTA MTL

1 minifit for emergencies

A coil mastering kit
A roll of 28 gauge kanthal wire
2 packs of cotton
250 mls of homemade 50/50 base, 6 mg nic
A ton of flavours, both organic and not, I'd say around 12, that I mix
A LARGE syringe and a SMALL syringe for mixing
A dirt cheap bag of e-liquid 30 ml empty bottles.

I felt like a hoarder but I feel better now, thanks guys :D

I was feeling guilty because I have put my greedy eyes on a used Billet Box SXK 70W clone and after reading this post I may as well get it... (is it worth 75 euros in your opinion?)

I have two schools of thought on this.

Minimum as it is all being pulled off the shelves, can no longer buy anything.
Mech Mod
Batteries
RDA
Nic base
26GA wire
Charger
Batteries, VG and Flavors would still be around due to other industries, like flashlights, lotion/soap making and food production.

Minimum as on hand at a time.
VV/VW mod - 2 or 3 battery type
Charger
Couple sets of batteries
RDA or RTA
26GA wire
Few bottles of various flavors I like

Either way I'm sure I'm forgetting something, lol, minimum is just too hard.

I frequently work & travel in some very remote areas, minimum = 1 Radius, 2 batteries, 2 spare heads, 30 ~ 120 ml of liquid, of course there is always a P2.5 & batteries for backup somewhere near.

I'd add a charger to that list! Preferably one with 120vac and 12V DC cords!

Well I guess some entity thinks I need one less radius than I have, I just killed one :( Time to get a monkey and an accordion. That was atypical even for me I tend to treat them with Extreme Care but I think I know what happened. LOL, someone posted a pic of a radius and a Dicodes side by side, and I said it made the radius look, oh I forget what slur I used. Something bad.

The provari gods are angry. Oh well, since it's the board I guess I can just send it in for a spa treatment when I can afford to, sigh.

Glad I did not sell that last P3 as I have had a P3 threaded Kabuki sitting atop it. What CAN you do? (Other than buy a coffee cup with a lid and start using it, even though I hate lids, but I bet a lid would have been BETTER than what happened to my radius.)
