every business has to start somewhere ... hopefully they will learn the business and go on to employ others looking for work.
on the news it was said that this person had attempted to charge their e-cig with their I-PHONE charger.
DUH. stupid is as stupid does. One does not need to be an expert, nor tech savvy, to have the very basic understanding that a phone charger - made by a completely different manufacturer to boot - is clearly the wrong charger to use for an e-cig. I mean really - it should be obvious to anyone with a brain that you use only the brand/model of charger that came with the device to charge it. Even if not using that 'specific' charger, only a similar brand and model should be used ... not one for an entirely different type of device.
I doubt a guy like that has pure freebase NICOh I totally know what your saying!! My hometown vape shop is no better I swear!! I asked my home town vape shop for a 24mg juice he said "um, all I got is 18 but I have a bottle of straight nicotine and I can put a DROPPER FULL in the juice for you." Um no thanks. Don't you think it should be measured? Um a dropper full, really you want to kill me! Straight nicotine! Wow! So um yeah, I make my own juice and order my parts offline. I feel your pain! Another thing my shop had for sale was zuse e juice for only TWICE the price it costs to order it off line! What a deal! I'm serious!
I'm disregarding it, because quite frankly, I don't believe it.
Oh, okay. That makes it okay then.
Just because you don't believe it doesn't make it untrue. You argue that they weren't causing harm, then when told otherwise you don't believe it and disregard it. It wasn't a rebuttal, it was part of the op. I see no reason for the op to lie about it. Were you there? Do you know something we don't?

If You Don't Know Anything About Vaping, Don't Open a Vape Shop
Anf just because you believe it doesn't make it true. Skepticism is tell and often valid. Are we sure there want exaggearation from this person? Does out seem to bend the laws of incredulity? This is the net.. Do not believe everything you read.. Etc..
But it totally could have happened this way.. It's just not likely..

Personally I think the op was being rude to the owners.

Like.....how?
NATE: "Clearly. I just came into your store asking for the most common replacement part for one of the most common PVs on the face of the earth, and you guys looked at me like I was from outer space."
NATE: "Am I on freaking Candid Camera or something? This cannot be for real."
NATE: "Brand new with rust all over them? Is that like a new custom feature I haven't heard about?"
I am just wondering what happens when you go to a store and they do not have something you want or need or something that I believe to be outdated.... To me it sounds like you are trying to be a superior individual my these comments. There is a better way that it could have happened without the sarcastic comments....
I guess I'm just lucky. Stormy's Vapor Cellar B&M in Macon is run by a lady who came from the same vaping roots as many of us. The first day I visited the store we talked about how archaic things were in the early days with Fluval blue foam in drink stirrers and polyfill fillers in 510s and 808s. She talks the talk and knows from whence vaping originated.
Most of the people who work for her are into winding coils, mesh in RSST tanks, and dripping. There's always a new person who's learning the ropes, but she conducts team meetings where the information is disseminated and taught. I can walk in and tell anyone that I want Nautilus 1.8 ohm heads and they turn around and find them on the wall behind the counter. If it's a new person, there's someone working with them who points to the item and directs them.
There's a vape meet there at least once a month and that provides a mixer for new vapers and seasoned vapers to share information. It's all good.
I'd lie about my affair with Scarlett Johansson.
I've seen some pretty ignorant vape shop owners and employees learn very fast. The most helpful and educated that I've come across was the head shop owner, whose head shop I can see will soon be overtaken by their vaping section. He's a great owner who takes the time to explain how to do things and when he comes across something he has never seen, asks to examine it, asks where I got it, and asks what the pros and cons are. He then starts carrying it if his own research shows it may be worth it to do so. He did not start out with much of a selection or knowledge. The place is a head shop after all. But over time his head shop became my absolute favorite vape shop, not because he knew what he was doing in te beginning, but because he kept his mind open to learning.
When I first read this I was caught up in the story but now that I read it again..........NATE: "Clearly. I just came into your store asking for the most common replacement part for one of the most common PVs on the face of the earth, and you guys looked at me like I was from outer space."

Did I miss something? Was the op given some dangerous information, misinformed about something, or argued with? Where was that in the post? He asked for what is now a pretty uncommon product, and they didn't know what it was. For SHAME! Lets string them up!
And I'm disregarding the bag of rusty heads part of the story. Simply too unbelievable.
