Ive been using mech mods with sub ohm builds for a while (lowest I have ever gone is .39 i tend to stick to .5-.7) and I hear a lot of people are converting to box mods from mechs, Does it give the same vapor production and flavor on the higher ohm builds as sub ohming, if you have done both please let me know I would l am debating on purchasing one in the near future.

I have two dna 30 Mods. (1 Vapor shark, 1 Hana Clone) When you have a regulated mod, you really don't care about sub-ohm. just up the voltage and vape away. It really doesn't matter when you move to regulated mods. My vapor shark I use for dripping for the form factor, the clone I use for my Kayfun and Taifun.

Considering the price for the clone you really can't go wrong to find your sweet spot using regulated mod.

For the money, you can't beat the Cloupor Cana DNA 30. Quality seems good so far, and I vape at 0.3 ohm on a Patriot at 30 watts. Basically, at that level, you'r basically using a straight battery with a meter. You can also turn it down to 7 or 8 watts and slap a PT3 on top and enjoy your clearo or carto. It really is that versatile.

If I had the money. Definitly the vapor shark. Last time I looked around they didn't have an 18650 model out but there were plans in the making. But that was ages ago so i digress.

Anyway, the VaporShark is tiny. Like. Really tiny. About the size of an ohm reader. Any 22mm atty will have over hang but the igo l sits perfect on it. It would definitly be my stealth vape dream. So if you have the money to invest in it I highly recommend it.

As far as the cloupor. Well I want to try them out, but I want to give it a while to make sure all the kinks are worked out first. Nothing against the product though, just a personal choice :)

The cloupor dna 30 is a very nice device. I really forget I'm using a clone. Worked out all the kinks and the thing is flawless.

The only improvement would be magnets to hold the back plate on instead of tiny screws. That is the only thing I don't like about it.

Using a Sony vtc5 and I guess I could just charge it via the ubs port, but have been swapping out my sony's instead. I have not used the real hana modz device, but can't see how it could be any better and cost about $180 more.

The Flavour and vapour production with a DNA 30 is just as good as any Mec at .6 and above
I use Mecs and DNA's I don't go lower than .6 I really like the DNA's
With a Mec it comes out of the gate really good but then looses steam as the battery goes down
Once the battery is down in the Mec you need to take it out and charge it with a DNA you can just hook it up usb on your PC home plug or even in the car and keep on going while the battery charges
The DNA 30 gives a consistent hit all the way down You really can't beat that
I made 3 DNA 30 mods to date and have another DNA 30 chip
I just ordered an empty box from FT it comes with every thing but the Chip and charging port for 20 bucks:)
Add a real dna 30 for another 49.99and charging port for 7 bucks and you got a great deal on a nice box mod
I will use my own 510(Fat Daddy 510) cause there's isn't really up to snuff
For less than the Hana Clone you can have home made box mod with a real DNA 30 chip that looks just like a real Hana V3
If you have a little soldering skills you really can't go wrong going this route IMO :)

Plus 1... I got one and it has replaced all my other regulated mods, including my new eVic Supreme. Works like a charm. I've been charging the Sony VTC5 through the USB port for a week, never mind the cover. It charges fully in about three or four hours.

I would say, if you have the funds, to buy a device with a true dna30 chipset. The clones chipset is a china variable wattage chipset and not a dna30. There is a difference. I have both. I'm not the sharpest pencil in the tray but have built variable voltage buck converter mods, variable voltage boost converter mods, variable wattage dna mods with 12, 20, and 30 watt chipsets. I used the clone just long enough to test it and now it sets without a battery awaiting a real dna upgrade.
