Everything has consequences, sometimes it's really hard to tie cause and effect.

Not here though: vaping works, BT and politics HATE THAT.

I seriously did not think things would stay the way they were as long as they did. Then I got sort of complacent, and now look.

I'm just getting amazed at the variety, I mean it really is a snowball picking up momentum, preparing to roll into the underworld where not BT vaping has a snowball's chance in hell.

I rarely (I mean often) don't (do) wish harm on anyone (everyone) but I really do wish Obama a nice case of emphysema. Sort of. I mean, that and a few other people. Glantz should get cancer of everything, including the testes, ,ESPECIALLY the testes. He should spend his life "recovering" from one cancer after another until he dies,. Testes cancer first.

SE PA
which is a shame because it's such a beautiful state.
It is, indeed:

Can we start a county-by-county vape-sanctuary movement? :sneaky:

Perhaps you could secede to West Virginia?
I moved here in 2005. Vaping propaganda/misinfo/BS is just about everywhere here, and some bans, so far just 'no vape areas', are already in effect that I know of, in larger cities/areas, like Charleston (the capitol) and further west close to the OH/WV border. Maybe further up north, like in the Morgantown area.

Man I just talked to a vaping teen today. I did tell her vaping was bad for her but smoking was worse. I also implored her to find a way to find someone trustworthy to perhaps ahem, purchase vapes for her that she could misplace somehow, not "a friend of a friend of a friend they are called BUZZZZZ (couldn't figure out if friend or vape.)"

I was trying to walk a fine line between safety, and like, not telling her how to commit crimes more effectively.

It's gotten to the point my heart just sinks when a doctor mentions vaping and I'm like, "Oh holy Jesus please for the love of God how is it gonna go THIS time???"

    Etc.

It's odd how I get some CTAs from CASAA and some I don't. I did get one about the flavor ban bill in the VA Senate.

    .
Some CTAs are targeted to residents who live in specific districts. Typically, if the CTA involves a committee, the CTA will email residents of the districts of the committee members. We'd love to open them ALL up to the whole state for every CTA, but we've run into being blocked as "spamming" for doing that in the past.

    Thanks @kristin

SB 966 (Flavor Ban) was heard in committee on Sunday, February 9. This was not a public hearing nor has an opportunity for public comment been scheduled. The flavor ban bill was passed out of committee by a vote of 8-Y, 6-N, 1-A.

Prior to a vote, take action by sending a message and calling your senator urging them to VOTE NO on SB 966!

Take Action - Contact your Officials!

SB 966 is moving to a vote by the entire senate which is likely to happen today (Monday, 2/10). Virginia’s crossover deadline for legislation is Tuesday, Feb. 11, which means that the senate will need to vote in favor of the bill in order to send it to the House of Delegates.

Points to include in your emails, phone calls, and spoken comments:

    • Tell them that you are opposed to SB 966
    • Briefly, share your story about switching to vaping and what role that flavors played in helping you switch.
    • Note any health changes you’ve experienced.
    • Briefly, discuss what losing access to local vape shops will mean for you (Will you shop out-of-state, in neighboring cities, or online? Will you make your own e-liquid at home or purchase products on an underground market?).
    • Additional talking points for testimony and emails are available here.
    • Watch these comments from San Diego County Supervisor Kristin Gaspar - YouTube
