Hi, I was a 2 pack a day smoker, smoked for 33 years. I started vaping without any guidance and started with a mini-e-cig that cut me down to 1 pack a day but just wasn't doing it for me. Then I found ECF, got a n eGo and some 24 mg juice and kind of quit by accident in 2 days, couldn't believe it. I still had 4 packs of cigarettes left and didn't even want them. I got to tell you this is wasn't what I expected at all, from my start with e-cigs I never thought that it would happen so easy and tomorrow will be 5 months smoke free for me. I hope your experience is as good.

Been vaping for 3 full days now. Was at 35 or more analogs per day. First day of vaping I had 3 analogs, 2nd day I had 4 and in the last 24 hrs I've had 6. All my juices are 24mg strength. I'm hoping to have my kit fully prepped for today so I won't need any analogs! Seems to be the hardest part of making a complete switch, getting your kit sorted out so you can vape instead of smoke when the brains says the nicotine levels are low.

Smoked half a pack to a pack a day for 17years. Started vaping 10 days ago. Using the Joye 510 and the Ego Battery. Haven't had an analog cigarette since I started vaping. Started off with 18mg. After the first week I went down to 12mg, 10mg, 8mg liquids. I vape quite a bit only because the flavors are so good! I don't even have the desire to smoke a tobacco cig anymore. How could I go back to smoking regular cigs when I can get any flavor of nicotine liquid I want. Going back to regular cigs would make me sick I think.

Bear in mind that I haven't vaped for very long ... got my first unit yesterday morning. However, the last time I quit, I did so for 1.5 years. The one thing I hated about analogs was the smell ... not the actual smell of the cigarette ... but the smell of my clothes, hair, hands etc. The thing I hated about quitting was my horrific weight gain.

After getting the PV all charged up and ready to go, I spent the afternoon taking 2 or 3 hits whenever the mood struck ... and loved the fact that I didn't have that lingering stench afterward. I did have part of one analog last evening ... and I was surprised that I actually hated the taste of it. In short, so far, I don't feel the need or the temptation to have a cigarette.

Again ... it's only been 24 hours [almost] so that might change but so far, the PV has proved sufficient.

1) 1/2 - 1 PPD Marlboro Milds 100's, 11 years

2) I switched as soon as I received my 510 Mega because I was so sick of smoking by that point.

3) I lit up an analog a few hours later out of curiosity and it felt... very insufficient. Hadn't touched an analog outside of the occasional one puff for a couple of days after to make the final mental disconnect that vape is better than thick smoke.

4) I probably overdid it a bit, until things clicked on how to inhale it properly and how much was sufficient for me.

5) A combination of 24mg and 18mg. 24 would get added in when I would get a strong craving. 18mg seems to be my comfort zone otherwise for the moment.

The most I've ever smoked in a day is 10-15. I've never finished a pack in a day. But typically I smoked 5-6 unfiltered hand rolled (but I stick my half smoked ones in the roller and smoke those down over multiple settings.)

No time. I stopped smoking cold turkey. Actually it was a whole week between my last cig and my first vape.

I used 24 mg juice, but took it down to 18mg because I was constantly in a nicotine buzz.

That said, don't get yourself set up for failure. This isn't a contest or a race, and you don't win anything if you beat the other contestants. Take it at your pace. If you want an analog, smoke one. If you don't want one, vape instead. I had every intention of doing a gradual switch to vaping, and bought 4 cartons of cigarettes just before my first kit arrived. It went fast for me because I was sick of smoking. I'd been sick of it for over a year, I didn't quit because I'm an addict. When I had a viable alternative, I jumped on it. I didn't even realize how fed up with it I was until I looked back - while I was still smoking I had all kinds of reasonable justifications for why I still smoked, but it boiled down to being addicted.
