Not everyone over there is bad...![]()
TRUTH!
Besides, 80-90% of them are here too, just watching their language.
MANY good people. Vapers, we...

Not everyone over there is bad...![]()
I would not be shamed into doing anything that I did not want to do. Come to think of it, in that one regard, I would not change much. Humanity would go on just as is has and so will I. I will simply do it more expensively. I would hire people to do my coils to perfection.
And, I am with Kat, I am not certain that I understand the premise of this thread, but I do have a suspicion.

Well please share what your suspicions are? this was suppose to be a fun thread but of course there always has to be those who find something to create drama about on this forum. My god it was about if you won the lottery how would you contribute to vaping, no conspiracy theory just a fun "what" if thread. You and Kat really need to stop looking for the worst in everything geez
But we are involved now. Not everyone has the same interests as you. Personally, I don't see any need for vaping research and I wouldn't give any money toward it.. we are the research, live and in person. Why pay a scientist for what we are doing daily? Those are my thoughts.
I would rather see smokers quit smoking. I would rather more smokers who tried to make the switch to vaping be successful in their switch, and, with a household income of 2,200 a month, I do my part now to do just that by giving away vape gear to those close to me (family, friends, people at my husband's work) whom I know either won't invest on their own or don't have the money to invest.
That is the place I see a need. I am on this forum in the hopes of helping new vapers be successful in their switch, those who aren't close to me, because I see a need of helping others learn and grow.
But if I won the lottery, it wouldn't change very much because I'm already helping all I can in the areas I see a need.
What winning the lottery would change is how I approach cancer research, and doing more to help those struggling with cancer. I lost my father to cancer when he was 42, I lost my daughter to cancer when she was 23, and my mother had cancer twice although she survived it both times. Funny thing is, smoking wasn't a factor with any of them although I'm intelligent enough to know that smoking can increase a person's chance of getting cancer.
I give every single month to St. Judes. I do that now, and that is where my heart is. But just as I give to that, I do what I feel is needed as far as vaping advocacy and helping smokers to quit.
To judge others because your priorities are different than others, is wholly wrong. If you believe in something, you do all you can now, not once you win the lottery.. you put your spare time and money and effort into it now, regardless of income level. My income? mine is less than most people's on this forum, but I'd bet I do more for the areas I believe in right now than you do..
Don't judge others, just understand we are all different and feel different areas have varying degrees of priority. But the rest of us, we do what we think is important right now, and aren't waiting to win some lottery that most of us don't even buy tickets for, because we are too busy helping others in need.
If research is an area of your interest, that's great. We all have different areas of interest which creates a situation where all areas are covered with our support and advocacy.
No, not everyone there is bad... I was speaking in generalities ... I have hung out there some but I simply don't like the place..too much profanity for my taste.BUT.... But... well geez.... I just like it over there. They don't tolerate bullying and sometimes if you need to you can vent over there using language that you can't here. Plus There are pretty helpful and kind people there too. Not just the crazies...
And I do have morals, proper ethical thinking and discipline...Not everyone over there is bad...

yes i am surprised at some of the responses and i am assuming it was me voicing that where the misunderstanding happened. I don't take back that i was surprised at some of the replies
let's not turn this into a drama fest
Now let's have some fun with this thread as was intended
The above cancels out anything else you said in that paragraph.
You did and you have none other to blame
That's what people were doing, prior to your snarkiness. If your really a PA, I would think your bedside manner would be better than shown here, and your ability to speak to others.
Anyway, have "fun" with your thread.. whatever your intent behind it as it seems you expect particular answers and get snarky if you don't get them.

You know, I used to be really into hypotheticals, until I realized I'd get some "surprising" answers, often unexpected, and I stopped doing that so much, because I have plenty to fret about in RL, without adding in my imaginary universe of expectations....
For a long time early in my life I was quite poor.... I wanted to stay home and raise my son and I did that by cleaning wealthy persons houses and taking the kid along with.... Often, I'd fantasize about winning the lottery and which incredible house I would purchase until a) I realized that doing that made me unhappy with my situation, rather than content that I could raise my kiddo as I chose and still get by and b) since I don't buy lottery tickets, the fantastical thinking about winning one was really a waste of my energy.
I don't regret the years I spend being "poor" and getting to be with my kid pretty much full time until he entered Kindergarten, and again, I had everything I needed, and much of what I wanted and when I look back, those were some of the happiest times in my life. I had nothing at all to fret about. NOTHING.
I understand the daydreaming though and it's an easy habit to fall into when one is in a stressful situation, but a lot of it is just wasted energy, at least on my part is the way I see it. I'm better off thinking about what *I* can do "now" to help vapers than dreaming about having scads of money to throw around.... Just my opinion, again, of course.
Anna
Okay, DeAnna, I don't want to derail your thread, so I won't post. I merely was pointing out what hypotheticals do to *my life*, not anyone else's. Good luck!
