Please inclued your lunch time in you tabulation, if you have chosen to work through your lunch time.

Being retired, I cannot take my own poll, but do believe that if I were still working and my employer allowed vaping then I would have been at my desks for the full 8+ and skipped lunch like I used to before smoking analogs were prohibited at my job.

The company I work for as well as the property owners have a very strong no tobacco policy. As this lovely lil 901 has no tobacco, and does not produce any smoke, we are in fact currenly allowed to vape while at work.

While I do still take my breaks (need to get away from the computer) I do not find myself "needing" those breaks at any specific time. vaping has lowered the ammount of stress gained from work and made me an overall content employee.

There are about eight of us here in my office that vape during the day. It is a beautiful thing.

I do vape at my desk, pretty much constantly. I very rarely take a real lunch and work 10-12 hours per day.

Pre e-cig:
arrive at 12 - First smoke break @ 12:45 or so
Again around 1:45
Usually end up eating somewhere about then so another cig or two
Pretty much every hour or so. Sometimes more. Sometimes multiple cigarettes.

Tally it all up, I was spending about two hours outside on the porch.

-----
Enter the vapor:

Will take a break to go outside for fresh air about 3pm
Again about 5:30 pm
Still rarely leave for lunch

Total break time: 30 minutes (at best!)
The boss wins!

-----

Let me also say that when I'm working, I'm working. Every one is different and I'm not judging but there are some people who show up to work but don't actually get started for 20-30 minutes. They go around telling everyone hello and get a coffee and get a snack and use the bathroom and go around telling everyone how their night was and basically screw around for half an hour before beginning work. Then repeat that once every two hours or so.

That is not me. Some of the people at work say I'm a b*tch because I'm not the friendly one - They pay me to work. They pay me quite well. They get their money's worth.

I find I get so much more work done by not having to smoke every hour or so. Our numbers have increased to reflect that. We are having a record month and I just received an award for being the top (in my position) in our five-state division. I would say that e-cigs have been as much of a benefit for my company as it is for me!

Rita
PS my boss is totally supportive of my e-cig and even has one himself, although he rarely uses it.
PSS I have been with my company for five years and I love my work and my job!

Ritalee76, I am intrigued - what line of work are you in?

I am the Marketing Director / Sales Manager for a vacuum cleaner company called Rainbow :D

Success Testimonials

Kinda tells my story. I started out at the company having no sales experience and have learned so much since I have been here. I went from being a single mom and a waitress to making more money than some of my friends who went to college forever.

I work my a** off but its very rewarding to show people how to be successful :D

I know I sound cheesy but I really do love my work.

I definitely vape at my desk all day. Everyone around me knows about it, and nobody cares. On the day I brought my kissbox to work for the first time, I walked right up to the president of the company (who is himself a closet smoker), showed him the device, and blew a puff of vapor right in his face. He just said "cool!"

So since then, I take maybe one break a day, plus lunch sometimes. Before the kissbox, it was outside, every hour, on the hour, period, plus lunch. Figure 10 mins out of every hour spent on a break. That's roughly an hour and a half spent smoking in an 8 hour day. So yeah, I'd say they are getting a lot more work out of me.

Well, I'm at my desk more. Whether or not I'm actually doing any work remains to be seen...

I would say my employer gets much more then 2 more hours of work at me because smoking was something I had to walk about 200 yards to do previously and I did it every single hour and sometimes twice per hour (I am supervisor so I got away with it). I vape all day infront of people and nobody even really notices or says anything, I kind of stealth it on purpose though, some people already know I use it so I just use it openly while they are looking at me or talking with me but most of the time I am doing it while people have their back turned.

I spend all day working on our company database so i'm at the computer all day. Before the PV i would be going outside every 45 minutes, before starting a new task, if an error was really bugging me. Each time would be at least 5 minutes. Even longer if someone else was outside with me.

Now i'll work through it. I'll only leave my desk for more coffee or bathroom break.
When i first started with the 901 i'd say i was pretty much vaping all day. Now i've backed off some on it and i guess i'll take a 5 or 6 drags about every ten minutes then put it down again.

being one of the few that doesn't have a desk job i can't really vape too much at work, its a physically demanding job, but my production has increased alot due to me actually feeling less winded and tired after completing my tasks. With analogs at the end of the day i was out of gas, now when i go home i feel more alive, of course i vape the hell out of my 901 when im at home, and lately im having a hard time sleeping after 2 hours vaping 18 mg juice. Im going to back it down to 11mg on my next supply order and see how that goes. I find that the taste of analogs now is terrible compared to the sweet flavor of my marlboro juice.
