Hey guys, I was curious to hear about other IGO-S owners thoughts now that they have had them in their hands for a bit now.

My IGO-S top cap was pretty loose at first, but got more snug after the orings were exposed to some liquid and seemed to expand a bit.

My stock air hole was right at the lip of the atty base, and couldn't really be expanded much because the atty base would still block it, and was generally lower then I wanted.

I noticed the IGO-S got pretty darn hot pretty quickly when chain vaping with the stock airhole.

So I have been experimenting with adding new air holes to the IGO-S, kinda botched a couple of them, but finally nailed it for my vaping style, 1/16th air hole, about 1 mm higher then my stock hole.

The bigger hole a little higher up seems to be keeping the top cap significantly cooler.

I had to figure out some way to plug up the extra holes, tape doesn't last very long.

What I ended up doing for now is slicing a section off of an old Carto condom and stretch it over the top cap.

It doesn't look great, but it is very tight, and very functional :)

It works for now, I think I will get ahold of some food safe silver solder, and see if I can fill in those holes.

Been running a .55 micro at .8 ohms, digging this setup so far.

I still can't decide if it's better, worse, or same as my RM2 setup, they both seem to be quite good.

Seems like everyone's talking about cyclones, divos, and chalice's, with some RM2 for good measure, but not a lot on the IGO-S.

Anyone else wanna throw in their thoughts on this little atty?

I've had mine since they became available and really like it. I also have the Rm2, Cyclone and a Hornet in the mix and find them all comparable. I give the edge to the Cyclone in the flavor delivery department. The one thing I ding the Hornet on is the cap material; it heats quickly. I find them all easy to build and adjust; the RM2 gets the edge in this area.

I've had mine a little over two weeks. I got it from Rob and he was so kind to accommodate me and drilled out the Airhole to 1/16. As far as mounting a coil I actually find that it is easier to get the wires thought the holes because they go straight rather than at a slight angle caused by the rim on the RM2. However, it is harder to place the coil because the base is smaller. Certainly nothing difficult otherwise I would not be able to do it. It vapes very well but I still prefer the RM2. I think the RM2 gives a deeper hit. Sought of like the difference in audio between bass and treble. For me the RM2 has more bass.

I've had mine for about a month and have been using the heck out of it. It has some pros and cons vs. the Tridents I'm also using. I guess I'm one of the rare folks that has a nice tight fitting top cap and a pretty darn decent draw from the stock air hole. Building is easy, looks and works great on an Ego style/Itaste VV and the flavor is really good. Small, simple and functional. I imagine it will be in rotation of my "normal" use stuff for a very long time.

Had mine for about a little over 3 weeks, I love it:D
My cap is tight, I thought it would be a weakness at first but fits great right after my first vape, My air hole is just fine.
It is lower but I place my coil lower. I get more harsh hits w/my RM2 from time to time. I drilled mine to 1/16th just as i've done with my RM2's. I love the O ring cap, which allows me to move the airhole as opposed to moving my coil to line up. I love the shape and the ability to pop the hood for a look see when others ask. My RM2 can get stuck as it's threaded, no problem but it's a non issue w/the igo-s
My only problem is I've only got 1 grand and it wont fit my woodvil or mini 2.0
SS and price are a super bonus, juice flows well and goes right back for me, never have any issues with flooding or collecting juice.
It's a champ all around for me. I find my flavor buds are treated a fine hair better, but who knows, could be placebo effect.
I like the look or profile better, and you can torch it for some great colors:D

I'd love to add pics of my caps, but my phone stopped uploading to picasa, haven't solved that mystery yet. damn, I love posting pics

So silver solder is a PITA to work with, scratch that plan...

What I ended up doing is shoving some 1/16 brass rod into my extra holes and clipping it off, then grind down remainder on the outside and inside the cap.

While I was at it I went ahead and torched my cap a bit to get it brassy in color, here's a pic!

You can see one of my little airhole plugs in the shot heh.
