You linked the same thing he did Johnny! It's right here: Devices - EGO-T LCD - IkenVape Store
have any of you guys tried these with 100% VG juice? website says: "PG based up to 70/30% PG/VG recommended", so was just curious
It's an eGo type A (tapered atty vs barrel atty) for type BThat's not the same thing. That's a traditional eGo-T (type B? Switcher? Isaac? lol) and the Ikon is a little different.![]()
They work on the same principle (but different as the CE2s) which use a 70/30 mix as well. I use 100% VG but my liquids have the consistency of PG for carts and tank use.have any of you guys tried these with 100% VG juice? website says: "PG based up to 70/30% PG/VG recommended", so was just curious
Nailed it on the head. 100% VG = a wicking problem and dry hits. The design of this tank system (IKV) = no dry hits with properly ratio liquids.I tried another company's not as good version of the Ikon tank with 100% VG juice. It was working OK, but the flavor was a little weak. I never tried putting it on my Provari and cranking up the voltage, but it was giving me nice vapor and a faint taste on the 3.7v battery.
If I were to try it again I would try it on a VV and see if a couple extra voltage increments make a difference. If not, I would then try adding very small amounts of distilled water to see if its a wicking issue.
I would say it will work...but I'll give it another shot when mine arrives and let you know if it was a voltage issue or inability to properly wick.
I would also like to say my Ikon tank was working fantastically and above my expectations with 70/30 PG/VG Cola from Backwoods Brew.
Thanks for clarifying that bud. I don't know much about the eGo's now. It's an eGo type A (tapered atty vs barrel atty) for type B
It does/doesn't. You can get a dry hit from it, but just like a ce2, you can just turn the unit horizontally and give it a little spin to recirculate the liquid flow. With the CE2s, after the second of third fill, my juice always started tasting weird. Kind of like a sour taste. Does that happen with this tank?
Oh man, I totally forgot to add the syringe with that order! Do you have one or need me to send another package?Woot the Ikon tanks are up on the site! Just ordered 3. I love these things, thanks Isaac.
lol I don't know about that one Noc, They are pretty large and are syringe based. So it may cause headaches more than anything for smokers to prep them. However to have full tanks while out boarding is a great substitute for a dripping atty. Plus the locking cap on the mouth piece is definitely an incentive. But there is still the filling/refilling drawback.hopin to get these bad boys by sunday. going snowboarding with all my analog smoker buddies and i been waiting for this device for forever to convert them!!!! ;D (didn't want to scare them with my big ole provari or omega, lol). wish me luck -.-

Be safe out there!!
You could try taking it out with a syringe.thx isaac, wasnt able to show it off unfortunately as i forgot to bring it! lol, its still not nearly as big as other mods though..
is there any way to dump out the liquid once i injected it inside? and is there any way i can open up the tank and mess with the ce2 inside?
I didn't have much luck disassembling the ikon tanks sadly...You could try taking it out with a syringe.
No It's pretty much a sealed unit.
Neither did I. Once they're apart there's no going back......together.I didn't have much luck disassembling the ikon tanks sadly...
