Finally have been able to resume using my Ikon tank since I've gotten a charger for the battery. Finished a 10ml bottle of 70pg/30vg and still working fantastically. I am going to try filling it with a different flavor next time its dry, only because I ran out of this particular flavor. I am overly impressed with this product. Great tip about the cap Loft, and even the looseness of the cap is of no concern to me, its the performance of its vaping that matters, and in that regard I have yet to see anything work so well.

It wicks extremely well and the flavor is fantastic, as well as the vapor. Not much more I can say about it. I love these things to death!

Might just be in my mind, but I feel like switching the whistle tip out for a wide open 801 tip increases vapor production as well... ;)

You mean like an 801 atty tip? I thought this drip tip I had was 801 but I think its for a carto, so obviously too small. Does IKV sell this tip you speak of ? ;)

Oh by the way, Just put a few MLs of Cola into my dry Ikon tank, which remnants were Pear. Now its Cola with a hint of Pear, and its actually quite yummy. My theory on the Cola is that it can mix with almost any flavor, being the nature of its taste. I'm guessing the Pear taste will fade out a little bit more early on, and the Cola will never be a pure Cola taste, but its not a bad mix, surprisingly. Got a nice kick to it.

How long can we expect this unit to last with more acidic flavors? I can live without Cinnamon, but orange and apple? If it's a real problem, I'd rather not have a clear cart to be honest -- just filler free.

IMPO the points raised by someone who took one for the team are very relevant. The acidity of certain liquids has been known for quite some time now and how it affects acrylics. IMHO if you know you are going to vape questionable fluids in an acrylic tank you have two choices:
  • vape a different liquid in the device; or
  • do not purchase the device whether or not it is cool.

... as the device has failed to meet your vaping needs. It really is that simple.

It was just a simple question followed by an opinion. How easily do these things leak with acidic juices? Will I get a warning sign or will it be immediate? Can it be repaired if it cracks? And I do wish there was an all metal version of this tank carto if it's a real issue.

While I do like the looks of this unit, the primary reason I want it is it's filler free. The filler free part most definitely meets my needs.

Yes, I understand nothing will ever be perfect, but that shouldn't stop me form seeking perfection and this unit looks like it has many advantages over other systems.

My assemblies should be coming later this week or early next week. In the meantime, I wonder how much clearance there is between the clear tube and the outer sleeve. Enough for a beefier tube? Anyone privy to the CE2 syringe mod see a suitable option for tube replacement?
I can fit a strand of hair between the outer sleeve and plastic tank. It's quite snug...

I hear ya :) No cracks cannot be repaired. As far do you get a warning? That is entirely dependent on the acidity of the liquid you are vaping.

It wouldn't surprise me ig they came out with a SS one.

That tube is already quite beefy. Although beefy tubes will take longer to deteriorate, acidic liquids will have the same effect on them.

Me, too. I am so-o-o-o ready for a tank that does not leak but is an Ego looking set-up.

I have a box mod and it works, but I'm not in love with it. I shorted it out with an atty, so it is not working right now. I will have it repaired and will be happy to have it back, but it is not perfect for me.

I love my Ego-T, style B with LR atty , but it leaks sometimes. Those times are when I least want it to. It always leaks when I go out. I can use it for the longest time at home and it be fine, then just as soon as I take it out, the juice runs down my arm.

I have a Go-Go, but it requires cartos and I'm not crazy about filler. If somebody likes cartos, the Go-Go is great.

I have boge cartos for Ego batteries, but I'm still not crazy about filler.

I need a couple of new batteries and new attys for my Ego-T, so I was hoping to just get one of these instead.

I am on here tonight, reading and reading hoping that since I was on here this morning there has been a perfect juice feeder invented. I have been doing this about twice a day, every day, since the beginning of May.

Thanks for listening.

The units we are vaping have not been modified, whether or not they GET modified in the future remains to be seen. But as far as I know, these are straight from the factory. I talk to Isaac a couple of times a week and I know he has a lot of irons in the fire. He is constantly chatting with the engineers etc... so it wouldn't surprise me in the least. But these do not have the IKV stamp as of yet.

Sorry folks I was mistaken. When these were introduced to me during a video conference along with other stuff, it wasn't clear to me at the time.

Was talking to Isaac last night and low and behold these were engineered to Isaac's specs :) The tanks that is :):)

I've used IKV RY4 and IKV Mocha Cappuccino in three of my tanks. I used PureSmoker Tonic Minthia in the last one. Just saying - for reference.

I know the PureSmoker juice is mostly PG. I just checked and IKV has the RY4 and Capp in either VG based or PG based. Just for reference sake, which were yours? Thanks
