IkenVape New design

Hey guys,
So I hired a professional to do our logo and this is what I received. Can I please have some thoughts?

I altered it a bit, but i just don't know what to feel at this point and could really use some insight.

i like the one you have on your site. personally i think the whole smoke/vapor/fumes thing is already tired. there are some extremely talented folks on this forum, maybe a logo contest is in your future?

I would go with this one for now but add your original IkenVape logo but change up the color scheme to match or blend in with your sight. Light shades of purple and misty blues would go with it.... but really any color combination that are with in the spectrum of the blue's, purple's and aqua's would look good.

Hey Issac, I use a mobile phone browser and can't browse your site any longer. Only the first page shows and you can select the 306 Atty which will take you to that page. But there isn't any scrolling on any page or any dropdowns for navigation. Prior to the change things were fine.

I have to agree with Ejoker, I like the one you have but if I had to pick one it would be the one in the middle. Your avatar would make a great logo too.

woops... I meant to add your ECF signature style "IkenVape" and blend that with the colors suggested.... . which gives me an idea...be right back...

I agree with 5card --

Love your Avatar or Signature icon -- both gently jump out at you. The font used in those icons would be angular to the rest of the fonts on your website, which would prioritize its attention.

Centered at the top of your site in the white background -- nothing but white space at the sides so you don't detract from its priority.

thanks man, I was only trying to show an example of what I meant by mixing the colors.... thats all... but the letters look neat though... all for show... I couldn't find the font that Iken used on his avatar.... so I used the other font instead. It was only an example.... But I may incorporate them into my next signature...or make something new all together

I hear ya Prog. Only if you guys could've seen it before when I did have the avatar as the logo, the site was a piece of work, but again, I just felt that it's too tried in the field. Black site with grey/black logo, while it reflects my attraction, there is just too many similarities in the vaping world thus creating genericalness (yep it's a word )

have fun with it all you want... the orginal I have for some reason is a lot cleaner and crisp looking then the ones I posted on here... I dont know why but ecf made these banners look faded out and distorted.

LOL I'll take the islanders but there's nothing in the world thats more frightening where the baby has been. All those millions of goo goo's on gaga.

Hmm it could be how your uploading it, photobucket always worked for me or you go Switcher style and upload them in the advanced section here on Ecf. Thanks Grimmer!

I want to take away the corroded look and rebuild the font design as "Brand new" Man, what a piece of work Grimmer! You ROCK!

I hope this one turns out a little better.... I figured out why it looks so faded out... my original is a png (56 kbs) and ecf converts the picture automatically into a jpg (19 kbs).
