I'm the same way DP...my fussing and cussing isn't going to sway Mother Nature one little bit. I'm doing good if I check what the weather will be doing one day ahead. A little snow in the forecast for tomorrow but above freezing days until around Thursday. Manchester is hit or miss on the predictions because we aren't up in the hill country.

I understand fully Miss KD5.

Good_morning_zastavki_com_16133_14.jpg

Priceless. This definitely reminds me of someone I know... ;)

What IS the top of the morning? Is that like 11:57am? 11:59am?

And why do I feel I need my grammar corrected right now?

And suddenly an urge for Irish Cream?

(errr, make that Duggans, please)

I know it well, Bovinia! I used to live in Rocky Hill.

A friend just told me that they changed the prediction to blizzard-like conditions, starting tonight at midnight. He's not the most reliable person on the planet, and I'm hoping he's wrong. If YOU know anything, please share it.

I'm researching now because if true, my world is about to get spun upside down (work related).

(Please-please-PLEASE be not true!)

This is what the weather channel says for Stamford tomorrow:

Tomorrow - Snow showers early, with a steadier snow developing late in the day. Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s (-1.1 °C). Winds NNE at 5 to 10 mph (8.0 to 16.1 kph). Chance of snow 70%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.

I think another winter storm is headed our way for next weekend but that's likely to change several times before we get there lol

Thanks Bovi. Our local Channel 12 though, is sitting firmly at 3-5, with some heavy stuff going on over night tonight. I'm not saying they're correct, but my clients clearly think they might be, because they phone situation has gotten quite ugly.

It's nothing new, but it WAS unexpected. :-(

Congratz Hawks!

KD5, I know all this snow will give the much needed moisture to insure a beautiful spring, but this southern gal is tired of shoveling! And living with my (soon to be ex) mother in law means if there are more than 3 flakes...I better have a shovel in my hand! Can't complain too much tho, I love her to pieces and Lord knows she deserves to have someone here to help her with the things she's getting too old to do herself.

Pasta or teriyaki...decisions, decisions!

Yes, you East Coasteners will definitely have a beautiful Spring, while we just hang ourselves out to dry. It's so exciting tho, as we approach wild fire time. :)cry:) However! Yippee and YAYA sisterhood, we had RAIN this evening! OMG, the skies opened up and it poured and flooded and drenched everything! We were thinking raft, or canoe?

(translation: it drizzled for about 27 seconds.)

Try the groundhoglet with the teriyaki pasta, and a side of lima beans. (The Chianti is silent and understood.)

I remember the rain there when I lived down there. It was intense for a minute then nothing. Up here we are conditioned for rain.
