I hate it when it rains up here in the summer because the humidity after it warms up goes through the roof. You can almost grab onto the air it is so thick.

I almost did it again. I woke up reached for my eyedrop meds and as soon as the spout on the bottle touched my eyelid I felt that oh so remembered sting that nicotine liquid has on the eye and froze. I'm sure glad I caught it in time.

 I had a poppy wick get me one morning. I took the tip out of my mouth as I was about to hit a big bump in the dirt road. As the car bounced the drip tip ended up level with my eye & I must've bumped the button at the same time. All in less than a second.

I'm on the other side of the Divide, so we don't get the humidity problem. It was just a soft on/off rain for about 8 hours, no storms or anything & it cooled everything off. It was very pleasant indeed.

I remember the weather over there. I could take -60° over there easier than 32° here because it was dryer over there. But whether I lived over there or here the Seahawks was still my team. I see Dallas is crying around because the Seahawks play to rough. Poor things need to start playing 2 hand touch. When Landry coached that team they were pretty good. Now the coach says the reason the refs make more calls is the Seahawks fault. Poor little thing, I think we were to rough on them.

And you were on the warm/humid side of the Divide :D I try to tell people that temperature works differently up here, but they don't buy it for some reason. We have clear bluebird skies year round on this side (I love Kalispell, but it's so damned cloudy all the time). In the summer, I say add 15 degrees to our temp to know what it feels like elsewhere. The air is so clear & thin between the altitude & the lack of people/air pollution. I love watching the tourists on the mountain in the winter. They come here feeling all invincible... then they get altitude sickness & sunburned in the middle of January. It's comical.

The sun popped out finally. The screened porch is still reading 60, but it feels more like 70 out there already. I was really enjoying the soft summer rain this morning.

Oh my, you're such a tease! Sounds lovely :)

Yes Pizza, you've been up and down that road with us as well! What a fun trip it's been!

My bad morning manners before I finished my first cup of coffee this morning got me...please forgive my lack of welcoming you Flowersoul

Good morning

INDEED!!!

Five minutes of great reading, and a big, fat welcome to Flowersoul. A great way to begin Day... Five (I guess).

Happy Friday, everyone.

And to Fran & Bovi, not knowing what Black & Milk was (earlier), I now begin today wanting a Dairy Queen milkshake, vanilla ice cream & chocolate sauce. Known 'round THESE parts, at least, as a Black & White. Damn you's! ;-)

Enjoy!!!

yeah! That's it Flowersoul. WELCOME FLOWERSOUL!!!

5C... .Dude!!! put you eyedrops in a different place than your juice. I did that once too because I don't follow my own advice

Morning DP! And Fran and Bov, It's funny isn't it. I hear a lot of people stay away from tobacco so it won't tempt them. In my case I MUST have tobacco to replace what I gave up. I realy don't feel like I quit. I'm just doing it a modern, much more healtier way. Some of my favorite juices are nasty, ashy cig tasting.

to each his own, eh? Whatever works.
