Thanks, Bov. But not that avi - the profile pic (when you click into my name). I'm hesitant to mess with that avi for personal reasons. But I'm still holding J's because if I ever DO change it, I'm changing it to the one he did (of Roland, also). I wanted THIS as my profile pic though. Cuz it's COOL!

Resize it to under 200 x 200 and save it as a GIF.

This is the seal I like.

4 years ago today I picked up a disposable e-cig and knew at that moment I would never have to light up again. Along with the health benefits that came with vaping was an unexpected consequence that I would have never imagined. I found a beautiful group of caring, giving heartfelt souls whom I proudly call friends and will so for my lifetime. You have enriched my life and for that, I will be eternally Grateful.

I want to give a Special thanks to Isaac for not only being a very important part of my recovery from tobacco, but also for his continuing support, advice and encouragement. Thank you for everything you do and who you are !!!

When I got my first ecig I told everyone I knew I was getting one and I would never have to smoke again. I finally got it and took a puff and said "Oh hell no". You gotta be kidding I can't quit with this. But by bragging and telling everyone (Me and my big mouth.) I was pretty much stuck. I mean I told just everyone how it was going to change my life, yada yada yada. Anyway I stuck with it and one day I realized I hadn't smoked for a week. I got a better ecig (a Buzz Pro) and my smoking days were over. But I still haven't quit my most damning thing. Keeping my big fat stupid mouth SHUT.

My first experience with them wasn't so positive. Maybe 2ish years ago or so. I got 2 of them from the gas station... one was an Njoy, I don't remember what the other one was. I chain puffed on the Njoy for maybe an hour total between 3 different attempts to use it. Every time I got frustrated with it, put it down & lit up a cig because it wasn't doing anything for me. When it died so quickly, I figured it was some gimmicky rip-off that I just wasted 7 or 8 bucks on. The other one was just nasty & I threw it away after a few puffs. Went back to smoking for about a year after that.

I think the thing that clinched them for me was I was on ECF reading for about a month. I had in my head that vaping was exactly like smoking so when I didn't get the exact experience I figured like you said OZ that it was a gimmick. But I read on ECF that the 2 were not the same. But being a guy that operates on logic I knew that I was getting nicotine delivered to my body and logic told me I was just being stupid but that one phrase that said vapimg is not smoking.

I wasn't trying to quit, I just wanted to see what it was all about.

Round 2, almost a year ago, a guy on a woodworking forum mentioned some (what I now know as) 808's that were so much better than the gas station crap... and cheaper too since you could recharge the battery over and over. Keep in mind, I never intended to quit smoking at all. It wasn't about the health or the smell or any of that, it was costing me a fortune. I was smoking 2 pks/day of American Spirits at $7 & change per pack. I figured if I could at least cut that down to a pack a day, it was worth it. Plus it would save me money by not having to step out of the shop once or twice an hour for a smoke.

I used those in combo with cigs for quite a while before I got fed up with juggling batteries. I had 3 of them & 2 chargers. Even starting the day off with all topped up, by early afternoon I was swapping a weak one with one that was still charging over and over and over. That's when I found ECF, searching for something better. It was all over when I saw this pretty young lady's sig, "All Roads Lead to Provari" or something like that. Hmm.. where's Provari? Never heard of the place. 40+ hours of research later, I ordered one. 10 minutes after I had it, I ordered another one... a Stealth.

Happy Happy 4th Vape-a-Versary, Lee!!

But if love can't find you it will pass you by. Love takes two and if you're never around anybody else then you are hidden from it.

Remember what Johnny Lee said. Lookin for love in all the wrong places.

Oz that 1st first disposable was $17 and it tasted like sheeet, but I knew this would work. That evening I went to 7 11 and bought an H2O kit. That night research lead me to this new thing called an 808 carto which was one piece instead of the 2 piece 510 atomizers. It came with the ciglike batts. Two weeks latter I bought the Defender, a 808 eGo.... How things have changed.

Congratz Wharf!!

I didn't take up vaping with the intention to quit either. I was threatened with eviction from my apartment because the neighboring apt didn't like the cig smell. It wasn't a smoke free complex, but the management continued to harass us. Being the researching kind, I found ECF and ordered 808 kits and cartos, and cut from 3 packs a day (yep you read that right) to less than half a pack a day. I was shocked, management was happy, and thus the journey began.

My first mod came very soon after I got the 808. It was a full size Chuck, and I still have it! But 6v was too much, 3.7 not enough, so I found my into the Notcigs forum area and in Oct of 2010 I received my first Buzz VV. Mike gave me a job, and I took care of his tech support and customer service for almost 2 years.

Once J5 introduced me to Isaac's Fusions, I finally found my vaping nirvana :)
