People can only do to you what you let them do. If someone did get over on you for being nice who's the loser? I've had people try but I usually shut them down.
Now let's look at the other side of the coin. If someone did want a little human kindness and you refused them out of your fears, now who's the loser? Besides, all I have to offer is a little conversation and friendship and that's not going to hurt anyone my good friend.

I COMPLETELY mistook what was going on, partially due to my own moving-to-quickly this weekend, but that's no excuse. I wasn't sure if you were playing with me, and I should have STOPPED my world from turning and simply asked you very directly. Instead, I played it jokingly.
It was NOT intended to be a joke AT you, and I hope it didn't come off that way. And if it did, well, I couldn't possibly feel any worse about it. And, again, I'm SO VERY SORRY ABOUT THAT.

DP if ever comes the day I do things the way I intend I will be happy. I wasn't nor could I ever be offended by something we talk about. People have different opinions that's how I see it. It don't mean ones wrong and ones right. It just means they disagree. I was joking some myself earlier too my friend.
