I bought this printer on ebay and it worked but it had a gap in the printed line so I got ahold of them because I have 3 printers now that all do the same thing. Anyway the place I bought it from said they're sending me another one and to keep the one I have for parts. They also paid for all the shipping on both units. That's pretty nice. You don't run into places like that too often.

I'm baaaaaack!

Most probably didn't know I was missing since I don't pop in as frequent as I should.

But let's just say that I don't want to say where I was (or really where I wasn't/couldn't be) and I got there just cause I have a biiiiig mouth!!

I'm just happy to say that there are some very cool and understanding mods that know now that I'm just a dumas sometimes and won't do it again

Love you all and very happy to be back in ikenland!!!

You've got the KEY? To the Klub? What time will you be coming to fetch me tonite? I'm ready to party down, and I've got me antlers on already! (Hmmm...... wondering if *I* could hop that fence...... yeah/no.)

Those aren't antlers Kat.

Depends on the music playing and how many of those fermented apples you ate.

Oz over where I lived when herds got that big they culled them down to the size the food would support. They do it here too. Over there especially because if they didn't have enough food they would wipe out the farmers crops. They do it so they won't starve and especially around national parks.
Elk & Vegetation Management Plan Fact Sheet - Rocky Mountain National Park (U.S. National Park Service)

They never cull them around here, not even down by Yellowstone. The hunters keep them pretty well in check. This valley can support a lot of them. Typically they break up & roam around in smaller groups, but it's still not all that uncommon to see them enmasse when the rejoin up. One morning I saw a couple full herds converge into a field. There were well over 1000 of them. It was surreal. If I could've run across their backs, I could've gone 2 miles easy without touching ground. There was an epic storm passing through & at their normal elevations it would have been -60F without factoring in windchill. That field is pretty well protected from a few sides, so it forced them down from a few different areas all into that one spot. I've never seen anything like it before or since.

Morning,pizza:) Glad you're back!!

Pretty much says it all, pizza. No value, I guess. But Stud's correct, curiosity will remain... :)

My company is dead-set in the middle of its busiest season (like clockwork, every October). I was asleep last night, J, not enjoying fermented apples with KD, although I'd have KILLED to be doing just that.

It's a VERY busy weekend too, and I've got troops mobilized at three-times the norm. But before I depart, I will leave you all with something to laugh at. Kat, please forgive me for not keeping this in, but I've just GOT to let it out! And ladies, just - please forgive me.

Apparently the owner of my building wasn't pleased with some very normal "residual" impacts surrounding the urinal in the bathroom that they just spent a lot of money revising. So somebody had an idea.

Gentlemen - ever seen a urinal mat before?
