And this, Mr. Stud, was sheer brilliance. Borrowed or written?

Found online.

When I lived in Montana everybody loved Football. Most latched on to the Seahawks because it was closest team but others like the team from their home state. My landlord and me spent many sundays rooting for out fave teams.

I'm ambidextrous though, I like Football and woodworking.

No. Before the hawks came to be in 1976 I like Dallas, The steelers, and The Raiders.
That was when Dallas was Americas team, The steelers had the Steel Cutain and the Raiders were known as the dirtiest playing team in the NFL. They were brutal.

It was. Now they throw that flag every play and sometimes before the play gets started.

Mmm hmmm. I'm surprised they're not wearing flags.

And dresses. ;-)

My eyes, they're losing the battle. Probably because Ozzy stole my war paint.

Good night, J. And good night all.

DP I'll trade you teams LOL. Our's was an auction and I didn't know what I was doing. We'll see how my team does. I was trying to get the best players and I ended up with about 9 players with a wk 10 bye..... Oooops !!!

That's exactly why I don't play. That and I don't have the time. I would probably end up with all women players.

Yeah there's that whole Cats Griz thing too. I don't dislike the sport, I just don't care enough about it to follow it. The whole team loyalty thing is lost on me as well, especially to the lengths a lot of people take it.

Years back I had a female roommate who was a workaholic. She became a single mom while I was living there & worked a 2 minute walk away from the house. I was working sound at a bar that had live music 6 nights a week... good cash, short & late hours, etc. I took care of the kid for her during the day so she could go back to work. Our Sunday ritual was to make tacos & watch the weekly hijinks of the slapstick comedy known as the Detroit Lions. That was the only game that came in on the channel that was relatively clear.

Thanks Fran (and good morning!). My version of a "hangover" these days means that I simply stayed up too late the night before.

Reality bites.

Wharf - having your team that way isn't necessarily a bad thing. You throw one week out the window, but then are good for the rest. I won a couple of years just letting it play out that way. In other words, don't panic over Week 9 just yet. Get a few wins under your belt and maybe just look at it as "vacation".

See? It's ALWAYS in the perspective. :)

When is this football thing over?

I'll see you guys then.

<<<yawn>>> ;)

Oh and the Raiders? I know the Raiders. Those boys can PARTEEEEEEEE. (adding Lester to my list now)

The Superbowl marks the end of the season for the year. The last one was played in February. The regular season is over the first week in December.
