I thought that was a reply. Like him you are also a rebel without a cause except you have a cause and it's called. The Davidious Syndrome.:D
Besides I don't think you looked close enough at that movie poster. It's the one with you in it.

I DO have the Davidious Syndrome, Stud! (Might even supplant my Bob fetish...)

And thank you from the Betts for the EDIT!!!!!!! LOL! Ahem.... that pic was not there last time I glanced, but now it is! It's wonderful, as are you, dear man.

Oh, and PS....... I HAVE a cause. (just can't recall what that is right now.. gimme a minute) ;)

Yup 2mo. and on the rules thing like it or not this forum was started and owned by ECF and the rules are made by the owner. It's the American way.

Yup. Gotta play by their rules to stay in the playground. And there's nowhere else you can get the info and the great people like ECF!

Morning Fran!!! I can't see the pic but I'm sure it's perty!

You're doing just fine, don't change a thing.

Pizza I think it's a learning curve for them too. I got a spanking one time for answering a post that had the word for passing gas by the original poster. It was overturned but I've seen and used words a lot worse since.

Good morning to all. This is a drive by and I'll be back later.

Thanks J5. And yes, I've had a slap or two myself. What a surprise.

Yes and no. Yes, lots o' rules and yes, sometimes odd, but for the most part, most of the rules work. And I suppose if one doesn't like it, they could always go 'underground'...... (yuck) And no, most of the time around here we're not big boys and girls at all! (And I LIKE it that way!) :D

(smh)

Prolly 'cause you can't remember it?

Morning Fran!!! I can't see the pic but I'm sure it's perty!

Not only is it perty, pizza, it's REFRESHING too (coffee!!!!).

Morning all. A bit of a bizarre start to my September 11th. The morning light brought a very strange color to the sky, but I didn't think anything of it. I did my normal routine, and moved into my "gym" area. Laid everything out and on the first exercise of the first set, BAM! The power went out. That was at precisely 06:19, and it's still out.

Realizing I had emptied last years gas into the cars, and that I had maybe six hours of run-time for my generator, I boogied - HOPING that the gas stations hadn't lost power too. Thankfully, they hadn't - and I was able to grab 20 gallons (2-3 days worth of run time, at my "vape pace").

I'll say this much. The combination of date, sky, and power loss did raise my adrenaline, um, just a touch ;-)

Certainly not the planned "workout", but I guess the goal is raising one's heart-rate, ya?

Mission accomplished, I guess. I also guess it's about time to jump in the shower and hope power restores soon. I won't leave for the office under generator power, since Sherry's literally helpless to do anything if something were to go awry. Interesting times, for sure.

Have a good one all, and let us never forget... :(

HEY! Where did my post go! Ugh, Good thing we have that auto-restore feature. sorry guys

Isaac, that is very sweet and I thank you for the thought  I wouldn't really end up living in a cardboard box...I have a car! Anyway, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

That's like a log yurt J5! I've been sort of following the news about building the super small houses for the homeless, and love that idea as well.

Oz, good luck tonight! I think we all hate change and let it make us nervous :)

Hmmm, wonder who would win between KD's bird and Oz's bobcat looking cat?
Miss Well as long as you don't forget we're on the same bridge sweetheart :)

My new job...

IS AWESOME!

And painful. That's the hardest I've worked my ankle since the last break. And my back feels like I got hit by a large pickup... twice. The shift change is still killing me; I was barely hanging on by a thread by the time we were wrapping up.

It's a restaurant up front, doing pizzas & sandwiches & pastries. There's a half dozen people working up there at any given time. The back 1/2 of the building is my domain - after training it'll be just me back there. There's 2 of us for the job, I'll have 4 days on, 3 off, 3 days on, 4 days off. (But he made it sound like I might be able to snag a few more hours if I want them.. maybe doing straight 4-3's) During the peak summer & winter season, I'll get an assistant on some days, but I still run the show. It's all rustic baking - loaf breads, focaccia, baguettes, sour dough, french dough breads, bagels, buns & rolls. I make all the breads for the restaurant up front & provide orders for the local grocery store as well as some restaurants in the area. It's almost like 2 different places in the same building - no one really comes back into my area & I rarely have to go anywhere up in their section.

It wasn't that difficult of work - rustic baking is rustic baking, follow some recipes, set some timers & read the dough - but they were all making a huge deal out of how fast I was picking it up. The hard part is learning the new recipes & getting the flow down. The owner (who is training me) is super awesome. He has a ton of respect for his people & is just a cool guy all around. He has high expectations where he needs to & is super laid back about everything else. The people are really nice too. Can't remember hardly any of their names... but there's the guy with a big beard & dreadlocks... and that other guy with a beard and dreadlocks... and this other guy with a big beard and dreadlocks... and that other person with dreadlocks, but she doesn't have a beard... yeah... I work with a bunch of hippies mostly.

All in all, I haven't been this happy starting a job.. maybe ever. Now I just gotta get these old bones from convincing me it's past my bedtime at 11 so I can power through that last hour or 2. Tonight... there shall be coffee. Muchos coffeeos.
ROCK ON OZZY!
Morning, Bov - and morning, all.

I hope everyone has a better day than my Dolphins likely will. But that's OK because we're still in the game (while it hasn't started yet).

Have a GREAT one, IKV'ers!
You and J5 would be proud! I watched a few games yesterday and they were awesome!!
I saw the Eagles come back somehow, the dolphins actually beat the Patriots and the Steelers rode it home. Just awesome stuff. :D

The snow found it's way into the valley this morning. I've seen it up on the mountains, but not this low until now. Hopefully that will clear the Californians out of the canyon... one idiot just about caused a wreck the other day. Yes, we have very large sheep with very large curved horns, but that does not give you the right to get out of your car & stand in the middle of the highway on a blind corner in a 60mph zone to get a photo. I don't care if you get hit, but I'll feel bad for the driver who spreads you across the highway for the next quarter mile.

Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone might have some beginner gear to PIF. I have a coworker who's been showing some interest. I was hoping to hook him up with a Spinner/clearo setup (or something along those lines). Something basic that he just needs to charge & fill a tank. If not, no worries, just throwing it out there.

Quick question...does anyone know if the Efest IMR 18350 will fit the ProV Mini? I need an extra one and already placing an order from Ecx so I'd like to just add it in.

Efest IMR 18350 3.7V Li-Mn 700 mAh Nipple Top

Efest IMR 18350 700 mAh 3.7V LI-MN High Drain Rechargeable Battery , Nipple Top , Purple , 10.5 AMPS
Size weight: 25g Length: 35.02mm Diamter: 18.21 mm
Voltage: 3.7V Full Charge voltage 4.2V

Oz, I don't have any starter gear, or I'd hit you up with some help. I saw the snow and wondered if it landed on your head!

Oz,

If you're co-worker doesn't mind Pink, shoot me a PM with your address. My wife just had to have some pink twists (or spinners.. or whatever) a couple months ago when we got my daughter a set. I don't her it wouldn't work for her as she goes through 3 18650s a day. Now they sit all lonely. And we probably have some Aspire (not nautilus) tanks and heads.

Bov,

I know the 18490s EFEST IMRs fit in the provari, so I would ASSume the 350s would. :)

I'm sure I could paint them or wrap them or something. That would be awesome. I'll hit you up with a PM in a bit. We were talking about them & he wanted to hit my Poldiac a couple of times. I let him once to check it out & a few hours later he asked again. Unfortunately it was the only thing I had with me & he made it taste like smoke. He's definitely showing some interest in them though.

Bo, I wouldn't put anything but the red AW's in a Provari - be it the 350's, the 490's or the 1600mAh 650's (the 2000mAh 650 AW's are pretty crappy). They're only a few bucks from RTD.

I already added the Efest to my order Oz. I know that Provape says not to use any other brand but the AW, but I'm strapped and can't afford multiple shipping fees  I will certainly keep my eyes open for potential problems, but I read a lot of people are using them successfully.

Being fired from a career house wife gig did not come with unemployment benefits
