Wharf it looks like with DPs help I'll be in next year. I looked at it briefly a couple years ago and couldn't figure out what the reasoning behind it was so I didn't pursue it any further.
Cat I hope you have a wonderful visit with your mother. Give her a hug from me too. I love mothers. Without their wisdom, guidance and love we would all be a lot worse off.
Bo I don't mind shopping but I hate carrying the groceries in and putting them away.
Another one of the young ladies that was shot passed away this weekend. It is such a tragic situation.

I saw on the news that the young lady died...very sad.
I got an 8.5lb roasting hen for $7...woohoo! Got that girlie in the crockpot with celery, onions, garlic, thyme, and a lemon I squeezed all over and then shoved inside the cavity. Gonna be some good lunch sammiches this week

So do I John! I don't cook often living here because Katie is so obsessive about everything. I use the crock pot a lot because I can't convince her that her gas oven only costs about a dime to run for an hour...probably less 
She cracked me up earlier tonight. She is very uncomfortable with any kind of affection (I'm the opposite, a huggy feely gal) I wrapped her up in a big ole hug and thanked her for taking care of me and worrying about me last week. This is how she says "I love you"...she said, "Get outa here...who is gonna take care of me if I let you kick the bucket?!" Classic New Englander grit

That's great. I love people that act like that because you know they really want to give you a hug down deep.
I did some work on this mod I started a yr. ago and while I was working on iy I remembered why I shelved it. Sight. Speaking of he sent me to another part of his office to get fitted for contacts because he wanted the sight measurements. They keep sending a bill for $200.00 so today I wrote them and told them #1 I can't put a contact in that eye and #2 why would I go for a fitting when my surgeries aren't even done. I said I'm not paying for something I didn't order, want, need, or could even use and if they want to send the bill to someone send it to him. He's the one that wanted it not me.
Now until tomorrow.

Snow thrower is ready for winter, blades and chute waxed, metal rotating parts wd-40'd, she fired right up
Katie was raking leaves in the back yard, so I got the leaf blower out and blew them over to the corner of the fence. She fussed at first, but when she saw how quick and easy it was, she was pleased. Yup Katie, that's what a leaf blower is made to do!
