Good morning my friends,
The sun is shining here and it's quite windy out. I have many errands to get done since I've gotten behind in my husbandly duties.
Yet I feel guilty not being at the SPCA. You ever feel like no one but you can do things? I absolutely know that our volunteers are just like me or more so, and do fantastic jobs at what they do. Yet I still feel like it should be me doing it.
I thank you all for your kind words, tho it embarrasses me. Please don't think that what I do is anything special really. It is just what any of us can, should, and actually do at times. Some just are able to do it more often than others. My inner drive just gets engaged when I see things going wrong in life. Since I am able, I do what I can.
We are placed on this earth to learn and do. I'm still learning and I'm still doing, so I guess I'm safe for awhile. When this isn't happening in my life anymore, I will know it's time to move on.
It's a new day, so our smiles have to start again.

Well I got my full 2hrs. of sleep and I'm ready.
Oh I got burned by a company that gave me a free prize if I paid shipping $4.50. About a week later I notice a $90.00 deficit in my bank. I call them and tell them I want my money they stole or all kinds of bad stuff will happen. They tell me they will give me half now and the other half when I send back my prize. I look and $45.00 are returned. I send back the stuff and no money shows so after another few calls telling them bad stuff They say they will send a check. I got it yesterday but it wasn't $45.00 they owed it was the full $90.00. It's about time these scammers lose.

I just got off the phone with the parole office, they called to inform Katie and me that he will not be allowed to come back here to live because of his past history of domestic abuse. He will be sent to a halfway house upon his release. Katie had me ask if she could give permission for him to live here and the answer was no...the decision is entirely out of our hands. He will not even be allowed to visit.
Good news to my ears!

Wow, if I could make money off scammers, I'd be busy.
All we have are cell phones which allow us to block any number once we receive a call. I usually check unknown numbers that show up & 99.9% are scammers. That no call list is worthless. Been on it for 10 years and nothing got better.
Once we block a number, we never hear a ring again from them.
Since we rarely answer a unknown call, we're pretty safe from being bothered anyway.

Ha Ha I know huh? I just hope they learned not to try me again. Money came in handy because I bought my daughter a laptop and added that in.
