I feel like such a fool (and rightly so) The Vapor shark that the button quit working on, the one I completely dismantled at 3 am, wasn't broke. DOH!
It needed a battery change last night when I woke up so I put a fresh one in and it wouldn't fire. The button looked a little funky so that's what I figured it was.
Today, just before I plugged in the soldering iron to attempt repairs (because I dismantled it at 3) I had a thought that I should of had last night. I wonder if the battery was junk. Guess what, it was.
What a stupido I am. She's back among the others again.

Bo you're right. My thinker wasn't fully awake yet. I'm just glad I didn't go any farther at 3am.
Oh and the 5 second fix worked so the rear view mirror from hell is fixed.
