I SO hear you, DP. I tried that, too. Terrible experience. Just terrible!!
Yeah. Going to an ER for medical attention is like going to McDonald's for a good burger.

Oh wow I've had nothing but good luck with them unless they've changed in the past 30 yrs.Any chance you'd go see a vascular specialist?
Vascular Surgeons near Tacoma, WA - Blood Vessel Surgeon
That's what it sounds like to me, but I'm just a schmuck with the internet.
Worth a call? Better than the ER (trust me, please). Been there, done that. BAD results (similar issue).
DP I know all these tests are good and probably needed. But each test sets me down the road another 2 or 3 weeks. Then another test and another 2 or 3 weeks. I started on this thing in Dec.. It's turning March pretty soon. If I can get this in the horsepistol I can have all the same tests run without the 3 week wait after each one. And the one isn't 3 weeks, it's 3 months. And (J5), at the risk of being redundant, I'd love to know if they did an arterial doppler on you. I'm sure they did a doppler, but I'd bet almost anything that it wasn't arterial. That should be the next thing they do, if they haven't done it already.
Thanks Cat. You know what the book says, "there's no rest for the wicked"....take it easy JK JK.Morning
Gosh J...okay, now remind me what is going on with your foot?? Obviously you are struggling to walk? It looks like a rash? I really feel for you right now. I think having to go to ER is insane...but then again, it doesn't surprise me at all. I got sick in 2007 with the most bizarre symptoms. By 2008 I started going to doctors to figure out what was happening. I went to at least 11 different doctors (all bouncing me to some kind of specialist). It was pure hell and no one knew what was wrong. One finally recommended I go to the mayo clinic where a team of them could try to figure it out. In the meantime, I got worse and worse and fell into a deep depression. I finally gave the finger to western med doctors and pushed myself to reach out one more time...to a naturopath. She wasn't sure either, but she was researching like crazy and finally found a couple docs in San Francisco that she thought might be able to help get a diagnosis. So I flew to San Fran. It was 2010 by then. Anyway, they found one big thing (chronic Lymes disease) and another ailment that is NOT recognized by the CDC. The positive out of all of it was I quit smoking and met all of you!
Anyway, I wish you all the best and sincerely hope your trip to the ER will be worth it. It is so frustrating not knowing what the heck is wrong, and stressful to keep bouncing around to a bunch of docs. Hugs, J.![]()
MY thoughts exactly Bo.Morning Ikenville
I agree with you on this one J5. And even better if you can get your primary Dr to admit you, rather than going to the ER. Time is tissue death in your case.
I'm not sure what "Bless your heart" means in WA, but if someone from the south ever says that to me, they take a shoe in their Planter's jar (if'n ya catch my drift).Well howdy back at ya and bless your little ol pea pickin hearts. All y'all.
