Hi amazing folks,

I'm new to vaping and thus, I'm not aware of the types/names of e-juices. Q-1: Could someone guide me to the most popular ones out there?

I had been a Benson & Hedges smoker (15 odd cancer-sticks a day), now successfully off them since 48-hrs, thru/though with a non-nic cartomizer (SmokeNV), but am craving for a nic one now. Pls help me not to return back.

Besides, on a $15 juice pack adding a $10 shipping seems a bit high. Q-2: Any vendor out there offers Free Shipping? I've visited a few sites in that list but couldn't spot any... thus thought some veteran could help.

Above's what I'm currently on now: Smoke NV, non-nic, Apple & Canadian... and am finding them quite good!

Pls accept my appreciation in advance!

Wow- good for you without nicotine! That looks pretty close to what I started with. 2 weeks was all I could stand. Love the look and feel- just the battery didn't last for more than an hour and I needed to move on. No vendor that I know has free shipping under 100$. Canvape offers free shipping over 100$. You might be better off going to the many flea markets in your area to pick it up. Canvape's website lists where they are. Midnight Vapours at Dixie Flea market and Happy Vapours 27 Flea by Woodbine Center. That's your best bet. Jugheads is 9.99 plus handling, awesome liquids though and great prices on all their stuff. I'm sure someone else will weigh in. Good luck!!

*edit* I see by your device you may not be able to refill your current cartomizers? you may need blank cartomizers - maybe a new battery?
either way check Bad's blog - helped me out alot!

juice is subjective - I prefer sweets/dessert flavors @ 24mg nic like someone above said trial & error
you could try one from each category - dessert/tobacco/fruits/beverage etc and once you find one you enjoy from the generic category expand into that specific tree of flavors.

I was previously a Marlboro Lights dude.

I've recently ordered from
https://www.mtbakervapor.com/
a popular supplier here in the States due to their prices/fast shipping
they are located in Washington and believe they do ship to Canada.
$4.99 base price for 15ml, which is a great deal IMO and you can add extra flavors for $.25 also can customize your ratio...

they shipped my order within 24 hours and they have a free shipping coupon!

https://www.facebook.com/mtbakervapor/app_139782022731999

the code is just - freeshipping ( took me a couple trys to get it to work as there seem to be two places to input in the code box - on the left side bar and in checkout, but I assure you it works!)

in terms of taste, people have reccommended to steep their flavors (steeping - keeping the bottles in a cool/dark area to let flavors meld and change color) some from my order were vapeable out of the mail others about 6 days into now I can see are changing to a darker color which means they should be even better and flavorful soon!) I picked up waffle/banana cream pie/ginger ale/pink lemonade @ 50pg/50vg 1 xtra shot 24mg nic and they threw in a free 15ml bottle of sour melon

50 ml for about $21 shipped!

hope this helps!

^^^Thank you for the heads-up.

That idea of visiting those flea mkts seem a good idea. Both r comfortably close to where I am. Any recommendation on the flavours?
When we went to Canvape at Brampton Flea market, they let us test a flavour before buying it. Make sure you look at their website- think they have 4 locations. Just keep in mind, prices will be 10% higher at a physical location as opposed to online and bring cash. Still can't beat their prices and they have the latest hardware too.

When I started vaping 15 months ago, I was hell bent on finding a tobacco flavored juice, that tasted just like a ciggy. It just isn't going to happen.

What I recommend to any new vaper, is to get a bunch of small sample sized juices. This way you have lots of flavors to try out, and find something that suits your taste buds.

I'm not sure how strong B&H smokes are, & you didn't smoke many a day, so I think 12mg strength juice may work out okay for you.

If you're not going to put in a big order, shipping prices are expensive if you order online. Thank Canada Post for that one.
Hitting a flea market is the way to go.

Hats off to you going 2 days with no nic. That's two days longer then I was ever able to go.
Welcome to ECF also. :toast:

Flavours are so hit and miss. Sometimes they sound great and taste terrible. Sometimes they sound unappealing and taste great. Unlike with cigarettes, we get more than two flavours (horrible and horrible with menthol), so juice preference is always going to be a trial and error thing.

Yeah, I seem to get the idea. This Saturday I'd try a few samples at the Flea Mkt & that should get me into the picture. Thanks for assisting me.

Thanks for those links...

BTW, having finished four (4) Cartomizers already in these 2 days I understood that purchasing pre-filled cartos (nic or nic-free, from the same vendor or elsewhere) might not make sense and I'd need to fill-them-up someway. Besides, those emptied cartos look so good, new & fresh that I felt dumping them off might be a gross national waste (LOL) and that they ought to be of some utility yet.

Which is why I did some googling and found that they indeed can be refilled, by three different ways. So, I tried prying them open, from the mouth end (as one youtube vid demonstrated) and voila(!) it perfectly worked. That got me into thinking... about topping them up, which, off course, could save me some addnl dough (not that the savings already thru e-Cigs weren't enough, but greed plays a sport sometimes!).

Thus, I've now some empty cartos which I could refill with some nice nic-juices; and utilize them all over again; which is why this post/thread. And you good ppl out there have definitely helped me to go ahead from here. Kudoos to ECF!

Thank u for those encouraging words!

And real-cigs (I hate to call them 'analogs', as is prevalent here, which gives them some added value) didn't "taste" any good lately. It was all in my head... the cravings were more of a mind-game than a/ny physical requirement. Those cigs messed up my taste buds anyway and sure did irk/irritate my folks around. Which is why I knew I had to quit... was just lingering-on in the absence of a real alternative... which I finally found in the e-Cigs environment.
