I'm fairly new (4 months) and wish I had known about the stardust clearomizers when I started. So, SO easy. no leaks, no raunchy burning, no fuss. The low resistance ones work slightly better than the standard resistance on e-go batteries.

When I'm working away mindlessly chain puffing, sometimes it has a hint of trouble keeping up. have to pay attention to rolling it around a bit to keep the wicks wet. But it's infrequent.

I'm excited to try it now, I bought the ksd ego c kit with 10x boge lr cartomizers, 5x kangers h cartomizers(read a lot about them tasting burnt at first so I thought I'd see what I thought on these), vision lr clearomizer and a small carry case. Also going to try the dumaurier and players juice to start. Thanks again everyone, watching lots of YouTube vids on this gear now. One thing mentioned was to fill the kangers with the condom method and the taste is a lot better right off the bat, how is this done?

The condom method is not one that I particularly like because in my opinion the juice should just not be put in that way. But I have heard from some that's it's necessary for the horizontal coils, and some that said it's not. Can't hurt it try it I suppose. When you get your boxes of cartos, they will they'll all be individually wrapped in plastic and have these rubber end caps on them we call "condoms." You're going to want to take the little plug out of the larger condom, put some juice in it, and then force the carto (thread end first) into the liquid. It's quite messy. You should be able to find a decent video on it on Youtube, I would search "cartomizer condom fill method" or something to that effect. Hope that helps

I just got a 510-t kit about 2 weeks ago and I love it. Id definetly satisfies my urges. If you want something the size of a cigarrete, I would suggest that and a PCC (Personal Charging Case) which will let u charge the battery a few times over. Maybe even a cheap passthrough for when you're at home to make your batteries last longer.

the kangers typically will hold at least 30 drops. I leave the battery end cap on, drip 10 drops or so into the carto, then shake it down, same kind of snapping motion as shaking down a mercury thermometer. 10 more drops and repeat. Then the final 10 ... don't need to shake it after the final 10 ... its full. You can also make yourself a Taryn swing, essentially some type of holder on a string that keeps the carto battery end to the outside of the circle you make as you spin it around on the string. Both these methods essentially do the same thing, force the liquid towards the battery end, as that is where the wicks are in an H-coil ... right at the very bottom.

it is the least amount of work, and wont frustrate you.

This setup givers you a good base to start off in (510 thread), as you can later choose many different atomizers, cartomizers and tank systems to experiment and play with.

the eGo-T and 510-T may or may not work for you, i would advise against those. there are many mixed feelings about the T
you can always buy a T-atty later on and see how it works for you.


start off simple, and experiment beyond that.

even though the condom method works, i have yet to see any benefits from using it, over dripping the juice from the mouth end... it really only takes about 2 min. to fill up.

the condom method, leaves a lot of waste and can just leave to much un-needed juice on the battery contacts.

once someone gets the hang of drip filling a carto, paper-towels are an option not a necessity .

After a few changes I ended up with
Ego c 900mah kit
Extra 280mah 510 auto battery so I can smoke while driving without any funny looks lol
10x boge lr cartomizers
1x stardust clearomizer
1x ego case
30ml dumaurier
30ml players

I think this should be a great start and between the 3x cartridge systems used here I should be able to find what I like best. The comments I read on the kanger h coil tasting like burnt plastic put me off of even trying them.

This is exactly how I feel. I wouldn't write off the Kanger H-Coils as I personally love them and have had zero challenges with duds or any kind of burnt or off tastes. I have used about 40 of them too so a decent sample size! I personally couldn't stand the eGo-T after trying the Kanger's as the tank was ALWAYS leaking and the vapour amount and taste differnece were HUGE!!!

Sure looks and sounds identical to what I just bought, that real 50cal mod is deadly though and may be my next move if I take a liking to this

Just a little update, Ryan87 sent me a pm explaining that since I bought an ego c kit with an extra 510 auto battery the charger in the ego c may not work. I sent an email to Tom at canvape about it and he said that even though the threads are the same the ego c charger puts out to many amps to safely charge a 510 batt so he threw a USB charger in for free. We got on topic about using the ego c cone with a carto and I found out since there is a holder for the atomizer in the ego c cone you can't pass a carto through it so i needed a cone for the regular ego to use on my ego c kit batteries to get that finished look, and guess what he gave me those for free too, missed my first shipment though so i paid a very small shipping fee and they are on their way today. Tom at canvape has been so amazing to deal with and has answered all 10 emails i sent him in 15minutes or less . Just stuff it takes time to learn I guess, Im good now though but it should be interesting trying to teach my dad and bro what to do cause they won't research anything for themselves...oh well though cause its going to be great having support through the quiting process.

On another note, I'm sitting in the hospital with my new born beautiful baby boy, Ayden Tyler 7lbs 11oz and he has hardly made a sound since he was born yesterday morning.......we are so blessed cause it was the complete opposite with my 4yo daughter. Anyways, I'm one proud dad about to quit smoking for my kids and wife and sooooo happy I found this forum, gives me a lot of hope that quiting may actually be easy this go! Thanks again everyone, you have all helped in a huge way!
