Thanks Katya, MTL sound good to me, any suggestion for a balanced starter kit?

I'm not sure I understand your question. I suggested a kit earlier in the thread (eleaf Istick 40 and GS tank). Or you could shop a la carte and just get an eleaf 40 or 60w (mod, power supply) and Kanger Subtank mini (or top tank) separately (atomizer).

cool, do they last? cause replacing external battery seem easier than replacing an internal one

It does, but you'll need to buy more stuff (batteries, charger). Eleaf istick 40 comes with internal battery. iStick 60 comes with external (replaceable) battery.

Welcome mlue00, I answered your question over in my post where you asked but have something else to add.

Even though I wouldn't recommend the Joyetech EGO AIO it worked over a year for me. It's been a tough year (not vaping wise, personal life and work wise) and I am glad that I had an easy device to start. No worries about external battery charging, watts, leakage, whatsoever. I could just prime it, fill it and vape it. Thats what I needed at that point.

And just like Mr.Relentless said, best would be you go to an offline store and try different setups and liquids. The employees usually don't bite, only vape :D
Thank you! yea easy is right up my list of priorities cos it seems there A LOT to learn here, I'll try to get the hang of it then move from there:D

Whats your price point?

No more than 30usd for my first one.. many a few dollars more if it has an internal battery thing, If I like it then I can get fancier once and completely shift to vaping:D Im looking at some store based in China like fast tech and gearbest, they have good price:hubba:

Welcome to our cool circle vapers e-cigarette forum!
Yeah, best way is to go to your local shop and try things out. There are like million options and personal preferences for beginners, lazy people (like me) and some other advanced electronic engineer nerds.
To my short vaping experience all mods are just mods, and I could be wrong here, some compact and lightweight and some powerful long lasting brick types.

My very first set up was from my local shop, I got smok alien 220 mod and Aspire Triton 2 tank. This set up, is like my very first love, I still loving it and still using it at work, where I can get flavor and throat hit without blowing clouds and setting up a fire alarms.
With this tank and 0.5Ω 40W clapton coil, my favorite eliquid flavor is made in Italy LIQUA Q brand. I still up to this day can not find any other eliquid tobacco flavor which tastes even closer compare to the Traditional, American Blend and Turkish Tobacco flavors. And... there are also nothing even close of strawberry flavor as Fragola Fresca by liquaq.

For home, I just recently bought from ozonesmoke Smok GX350 4 battery mega 350W kit brick, it came with TFV8 Cloud Beast tank. This thing does so much cloud you'll feel like a volcano eruption, and charge lasts about 4-5 days of continues all evening vaping.
I find eliquids like Keep It 100, Glass, Transistor and Naked are my favorite for this high power tanks.

Now, you don't have to follow me, only consider it, because in vaping everyone got own preferences and likes, same as with tobacco cigarettes. Some smoke Marlboro, some smoke Newport, some smoked when drinking, some smoke with coffee on the way to work. So, support your local shop, or save $$ and shop online.

Yeah, good price if you want to wait a month, unless you wanna pay $20+ shipping, and get it in 7 days, but than total won't sound like "good" after that.

Can't go wrong with Fasttech and 3FVape. Gearbest is slow and just generally annoying. ;)

But don't give up on local vendors--you can get great deals often when there's a sale going on, mainly during holidays.

@gofishtx gave you some good advice. Most people here will recommend MTL devices for beginners. My experience with MTL devices was that I hated them and quit vaping for a couple of years. I started back up when I saw a clerk at my local smoke shop blow a huge cloud that smelled great. This was how I discovered the magic of sub-ohm vaping. I started vaping as a hobby without any intention of quitting smoking and I love blowing big clouds (or my version of big clouds). So get a setup that will work as MTL and DL and figure out what you like so you can buy your next mod. (don't fight it, it's going to happen) Shinyitis strikes everyone, especially newbies.
And you can smoke while vaping until you are comfortable setting that quit date. Anytime I try to set a date to quit smoking, I get dizzy, drool and have to find a dark corner where I can curl into a fetal position and shake uncontrollably until I mentally cancel my projected quit date. BTW Welcome and I hope you have a good time here.

Where do you shop?
Nothing specifically, elementvape ozonesmoke vapenw, depends on the bargain and availability.
No offense, I hope I don't sound like douche.
It was my long time preference to get stuff right away and pay $$ x4, until next to my house walking distance vape shop went out of business.

Oh, I see. Yes, they are good vendors.

Nah. I'm fairly thick skinned. :D

I really tried to support our local B&Ms, but it's becoming increasingly difficult. Some of the newer ones cater to a very specific clientele--mechs, big clouds, tattoos, body piercings, so I don't feel quite at home there. ;) And the few remaining "mainstream" ones have horrendous markups--often twice what I can get online. And if you add the ridiculous CA taxes, it's a no-go for me. I've never seen a mod or an atomizer that was "only a dollar or few more."

All I can afford nowadays is an occasional drip tip to support my neighborhood B&Ms. :D
