Oh yeah, you'll hear this early and often as you ask for advice on how to get started. Have backups, and backups for your backups. You don't want a crazy craving to hit while waiting for batteries to charge. And stock up on e-liquid too, some days it goes faster than others and you sure don't want to run out.

I can foresee running out being a problem, so thanks for the advice. How long does e-liquid typically last?

That really depends on how much you vape and what you are using it in, me and my wife vape quite heavy and between us, went through a $11 50ml bottle of juice in 3 weeks, that's a hell a lot cheaper than analogs :D

If you are looking to save money..... sorry but I've got to suggest Fasttech. I have received a couple of orders and been really pleased. They have a fantastic price on eVOD's. Since I got two, it's the only thing I have been using. Easy to clean, fill and vapes fantastic. I received my wire and hopefully soon I will have enough courage to rebuild them. YouTube makes it look very easy. I have definitely got to go on a budget but it is just so much fun. Lots of information here and it is nice to always just be able to ask. People are so great here. Good luck to you.

You will find your happy place. IMO vaping is a journey that must be traveled and in it you will try many juices and mods. Your ticket to the land of vaping may be your last stop by staying a alternative to cigs or you may find that you don't need to breathe/inhale anything but air. So welcome to the forum and i shall refrain from advising which path you should take.Except to say we all are different in our quest for the Holy Grail.Try everything and have fun!

As for my journey. I have found DIY ejuice is what is required to keep me happy. Bottom feeder mods with cartomizers and atty's is my preferred delivery method and devices. ymmv Of course it took me a year to get where I am satisfied that what i have is the best for me.

...to shopping! I want it all! This must be one of the cons of vaping, 'cause I sure don't remember wanting to buy anything else related to analogs (not that there was ever much out there). There are just so many gadgets and gizmos to choose from!

With that said, though, Kansas City definitely lacks any solid shops for e-liquids. What are some of the best e-liq distributors online? Pretty new to vaping and have been nervous to try refillable cartomizers. I hear it's a money-saver to do so. Also, tanks seem to be the most popular way to go, but I'm hesitant to buy one as I'm still trying to kick the analog habit and feel more comfortable with e-cigs that feel similar.

I suppose I'm just looking for some input on the best ways to get more experimental with vaping down the road.

    Remember to stay hydrated :toast:

Oh I think we are all like this at the start. Everytime I get paid, I am online or up in the tobacco shop. I bought a 1000 passthrough today and a few atty heads. I love buying new stuff so much, especially when I get "Vape Mail". There is nothing so simple and yet to fun when you get something new in the mail. I dunno why.

I agree! I think I checked USPS tracking at least 3 times a day while waiting for my last shipment. Best part is seeing that package on your doorstep!

I guess I'm different. I never stalk the mailman. It's because he already hates me. Anyways, he rings the doorbell when he leaves packages. If I can order something online, I will, I rarely go to the store to buy anything anymore so I have packages coming daily. That's only USPS, then there's UPS and FedEx.

:vapor:if you buy vapor from China, the shippment time is about 3-7 workdays.but e-liquid time maybe is longer.because Oil tariffs more trouble, and this is the dangerous goods.Good luck for you.if you want to more information on vapor.maybe i can help you.

I buy American when ever, where ever possible, personally.

However most of the stuff out there is Chinese made, which is ok I'm not knocking them, however I like to keep as much American money home as possible. Now as for the suppliers that I buy my stuff from, where ever they purchased the goods, that's on them not me.

Good to know! I hose the V4L D.A.V because it was automatic and not manual. I'm a little intimidated by manuals, but they seem pretty easy to get the hang of, so I honestly am not sure why I'm not getting one yet. Probably another choice based on similarity to analogs (though definitely nowhere similar in dimensions). I did not do much research on variable voltage batteries, to be honest.
I originally had an automatic, and was afraid to switch to a manual (pushing the button every drag......), it took about 2 minutes to get used to it :)
