So much for putting a stop to my shopping. I bought an iTaste MVP today, along with some atomizers to try dripping with.

I'll break even somewhere around SEPTEMBER FIRST if I quit spending.

Signed,

We can very easily solve this problem with some rational thought.

1. You were spending $X/month on cigarettes before you quit.
2. You are now spending $Y/month on vaping. Y is greater than X.
3. This financial situation is a source of stress.
4. Your previous reaction to stress was to smoke more.
5. The additional cost of those cigarettes is $Z/month.
6. Z added to X is greater than Y.
7. This means you are now saving money.
8. You can afford a Provari.

My break even date has moved into February of 2014. The good news for me is that I'm only using RBAs now and I just got my first Wizard Labs order today for DIY juice, so hopefully my spending will decline. I've recently sold some gear that I no longer use on the Classifieds, so that helps.

My break even date has moved to sometime next century.

Seriously though, I quit worrying about saving money and breaking even after about my second week of vaping. I realized that there's just too many juices to try and way too many shiny objects that capture my attention to fret over such mundane things. ;)

The other thing to take into account is that vaping has become a hobby so now that you're spending so much of your time on it you're not spending time and money on other forms of entertainment. Think about the medical bills and health insurance premiums you're saving on too.

HaaHaaHaHaaaHa :D

Dont EVER look at any of the recipes in the DIY subforum. You'll be just like me, constantly ordering new flavors, new bottles, ultrasonic shakers, fishing boxes to put it all in, labels, more & more syringes & other goodies, always more & more VG,PG, & nic .... its never ending :p

In the past 10 months, I have spent about $1,200.00 on vape stuff, incuding an MVP and a Tesla with 4 batteries and 2 chargers (one for work and one for at home... ;) ) If my banner is close to correct, I'm up $600.00! I've got enough DIY stuff, coils and other supplies that I probably could last about 6 months with maybe another order for nic, pg, vg and flavors for less than $75.00. It will level out if you don't go crazy with buying the newest, shiniest stuff. Learn what your needs are and what works well for you. I may buy a mech mod soon, but I have 2 very good PV's and I know I don't need much more to maintain, but it's always nice to buy yourself a treat.
