We can very easily solve this problem with some rational thought.

1. You were spending $X/month on cigarettes before you quit.
2. You are now spending $Y/month on vaping. Y is greater than X.
3. This financial situation is a source of stress.
4. Your previous reaction to stress was to smoke more.
5. The additional cost of those cigarettes is $Z/month.
6. Z added to X is greater than Y.
7. This means you are now saving money.
8. You can afford a Provari.

But math is sooo hard! You should get a Vamo.

One thing I've never seen mentioned here regarding the cost of vaping vs. the cost of smoking. Add in the cost of oxygen bottles for COPD, chemo or radiation for lung cancer...

Vaping is WAAAAAY cheaper!!:vapor:

I posted something along those lines in the "How much have you spent on devices" on-going thread in the New Members forum.

I was using cheap enough tobacco to where I will probably never break even unless I can use the same clearo for about 5 months without having to rebuild or buy the replacement coil/wicks and not buy another bottle of juice for the next several months....I'm currently spending about $60 a month on juice and another $20 or so on replacement coils for my kanger mt3 at about $4 per. The only cartos I've used are the non rebuildable Vision clearos that came with my kit, a single DCT (I don't know what brand) that I didn't like much and lately the Kanger mt3 which I really like except that it gurgles and leaks a small bit of fluid into the tip when it gets below about half a tank.....If I had the $$$ to spend I'd go a little more hard core but that ain't in the cards right now.

That's OK Ragenowski... I spent $75/mo on tobacco and purchased about 4 pipes a year on average. accessory items such as stems, scrapers maintinance items, storage, etc... I figured it all out, and I spent $1400 my first two months vaping.
More painful math and I spent an average of $150/mo on smoking.
I will break even on June 1 of 2014 as long as I keep my monthly budget of $100/mo and then I'm good to go. :)

Later on down the road... about 15 to 20 years, I will be able to increase my budget for vaping to $1500/ mo if I can afford it because that would be the average spending on medical supplies and visits I would have if I had not stopped smoking :D

Naah, buy a vamo board and build a box mod. I think my counter is actually probably low. Yes I've spent money vaping but DIY juice and modding are a lot cheaper hobbies than buying all the shiny new mods. Bear in mind that the cost of cigarettes and tobacco has also been going up steadily, so y'all probably aren't as far behind as you think
